Delicious New York thin crust, but mainly we loved their vibes for kids on Tuesdays from 5-8 pm. We had stumbled into this place because it was close to Central Park where we were letting my 6-year-old niece run around during a family stopover at San Francisco Airport (SFO). Pizza My Heart had a special where kids could put together their own mini-pizza on Tuesday evenings, and this night they had a juggler for the kids too. My niece got the T-shirt with the pizza, and now she says shes an employee of Pizza My Heart when she wears the shirt! We were tired out, but the staff was still amazingly friendly and accommodating. Yes, the prices were high -- $28 for a medium pizza, kid pizza (with T-shirt), and chicken Caesar salad -- but the food is great quality, and we felt lucky to find this place.

Handy generally quiet place for a couple of slices and a beer or two. Beers are cheap (by Bay Area standards) - $4 for Lagunitas IPA/Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Slices are fine too - you can have 2 slices and a soda for ~$10. Staffed by Polynesians (Tongans?) and a rotating cast of others; the staff is invariably friendly. Although theres probably not much difference in reality, I greatly prefer this location to Palo Alto. The pizza is good, nothing to brag about, but if youre looking for a laid back place to have a couple of slices and take your time doing it, this is an excellent option. Thumbs up!

Great Pizza, Great Staff! I ordered some pizzas for an event I hosted for students at the end of the school year, and they were delicious. Two months later, I realized I somehow lost the receipt, and was worried about paying out of pocket instead of being reimbursed by my school. I thought it was a long shot, but I called and asked the manager Josh if he could help me track down the invoice, and within 5 minutes he was able to find it, and email me a copy. This is the sort of service, not to mention fantastic pizza (especially the Big Sur), that will keep me coming back. Thank you Josh!

Friends and I came here for our Downtown Pizza Chow Down to check out all the downtown pizza places in San Mateo. This was our last stop and was rated second best. We ordered pizza by the slice. They have some great and off-the-wall options, but I just went with pepperoni. It was super greasy, but that doesnt bother me too much. Overall, good cheese, toppings and crust, just not the best. Our group rated it a 8 overall. It is a good place to get a slice, especially if youre into their less common offerings.

Love to swing in here for a quick lunch slice or two. Pizza is always very tasty with fresh-tasting toppings. Its very thin crust and not always cooked as long as I like, but thats a minor complaint. Tea, fancy soda-selection machine with lots of options and a fast and friendly staff. Clean place, too! Bathrooms could use some help but thats a minor ding.

Theyre pizza is always great here and Ive never had a problem with their staff. Pro tip: if you visit frequently get a shirt (you get a discount for wearing one) and their pizza card (for a free slice).

Delicious! When hot. Pizza my heart is no good once it has cooled down. Even reheating does little to no justice. If you enjoy leftover pizza for another day, this is not the place.

Great gourmet pie, Big Sur garlic is on hit. Watsonville ( Fridays ) unique and great. Best small chain. Blows Amicis and and chain out of the water
