This is a great little thai place. Ive eaten there a couple times for lunch and am hooked! The service & portion size is perfect. There is a range of how spicy you want your dish and mine has been hot everytime, just the way I like it. If you want it hot, they make it hot. The scale is pretty realistic. The spicy noodles with beef is fantastic!!! Ive also had the spicy fried rice. Also amazing. You pretty much cant go wrong with anything on the menu. The thai tea also adds a nice touch to counter the spicy food. There is always at least 10 other people eating in the dining room when ive gone in. This is comforting to know that other people are also enjoying the food. Would like to see some more outside tables. If you are trying to decide what to eat right now, give Thai boat a try. You will not be disappointed.

This is the best Thai food Ive ever had! And Im not that huge a fan of Thai food to begin with but this food was delicious!! I went in with my boyfriend for the first time right before they were closing. The line was very long (and I understand why- completely worth the wait) but the food came out pretty quickly. I ordered the Wontons which were very yummy and their pom-du (I think its the peanut one) which was magical! I wanted to get the Thai tea so I inquired about the caffeine level- I didnt want to stay up all night so I skipped on that. While seated the servers were very attentive and even brought me a sample of the Thai tea. They noticed we had finished our rice and even brought us an extra side of that too! Wonderful wait staff and fantastic food!

First off, this is the best Thai Food in SLO, in my opinion. Ive been eating here for five years and Ive never been disappointed with either the food or service. Its family owned and theyre all extremely friendly and hospital. They will go out of their way to make sure youre happy with the food and service. A few things worth noting though. They are only open Monday to Friday. They open from 11-2 for lunch, then close for lunch from 2-430. They stay open until 8. The restaurant often has unexpected closed days though. If youre planning on stopping by and you have to make a drive to do it, Id give them a call first to make sure theyre open. Other than that, you absolutely cannot go wrong with this place!

Best service in SLO. Better than foremost. These guys are the best. Theyll shake your head, call you bud. GET YOUR ORDER CORRECT EVERYTIME. The best thai in SLO for sure. They also do a good job measuring the spice level for the caucasian palette of SLO. They will also make it spicy if you ask. Ive come in with a group of 7 people and while we were waiting they gave us all small thai iced teas! My favorite is the pineapple fried rice. Go to Thai Boat! Make sure you call before you go, they often travel. Also they arent open on the weekends, but they deserve those off.

Plain & simple Thai place served take-out style. Very friendly service but claustrophobic when packed...which is all the time. Take out line runs thru the middle of the tables which for me was really annoying. Food is overrated & is about average for the region, which is filled with other Thai places that have classier digs & longer hours. Popular with locals. Weird abbreviated hours at times & when the family goes on long vacations they shut the place.

My family is still reeling from their move from Morro Bay to SLO. We love the food and the service. It can get busy but the staff is fabulous. In fact, when we walk in the door they are already starting to take our order before we sit down they know so well what we usually order. Im the odd ball, ordering different things to keep them guessing. The hours can be sketchy, so we call ahead to make sure they are open. It is so worth it.

The service at thai boat is incredible. The waiters are so friendly, they greet you with the biggest smile whenever you come in. I feel more at home in this dining establishment than any other joint. The food is also excellent. The spicy fish is so good that it is difficult to order anything else. The curry is not bad, but a little watery. Perhaps best of all: no corkage fee!!

These guys are amazing. Super friendly and the food is amazing. Thai noodle soup rocks! Ive had the spicy noodles and pad see ew (i think thats how its spelled) and i love it all. Sometimes they travel home to visit family and will be closed but they usually leave a notice. If you drive in the parking lot and see the big white ford passenger van you know they are there.

THE best place for Thai lunch around and everyone knows it. Visit the menu online and call ahead or you will be waiting in line to order. Everything is amazing and authentic. They close at odd times and for about a month every year to go back home to Thailand, so call ahead to make sure they are open and you will never be disappointed.

This place is good if you cant get anywhere else and are craving Thai food. My friends are crazy for this place but I really think Nois is a lot better and is worth the drive out there. Almost every time Ive ordered for dine-in or take out, Ive gotten the response "Ok, itll be like an hour." I mean, seriously?

One of my favorite Thai places in SLO. The guys who work here are some of the friendliest around, and I havent been disappointed yet with anything Ive ordered. Their hours are kind of all over the place, though, so make sure to call if youre planning on going (even if youre SURE).

New to this place and really enjoyed the food. The staff there went out of their way to make sure everything went well. There was a constant flow of locals picking up orders to-go (a good sign). It would be great if they had some cover from wind and sun on their patio.

Great, inexpensive food. The employees value return customers and always offer to shake my hand when I walk in with coworkers. Also they often give out free small beverages as are eating (Thai iced tea and soda from what Ive seen). Employees are very friendly.

Food is above average for Asian cuisine in SLO. Friendly staff was great, as a first time visitor. Ordered a Pad Thai, and while tasty, it was simply too small a portion for a full meal. That said, I will return in the future to explore more of the menu.

This is the best Thai restaurant in San Luis Obispo! The food is always impeccable, the servers are the friendliest and most generous servers one could ever ask for, and prices cant be beat. My only complaint about this place is that its not open 24/7.

I love this place ! Not only is the food good, but the family who owns it is amazing. Theyre so sweet and cheerful.. It just brightens my day going in there ! The restaurant isnt huge inside but its great for take out. I like the pad see ew a lot.
