I changed my mind on what I wanted mid order, asking for a carne asada dish and then asking to sub out chicken instead of carne asada. Not a big deal, it happens. The guy who almost always takes orders proceeded to call me a pendejo to his co-workers, laughing about it. Its pretty foolish to assume your customers havent picked up any Spanish while living in California, and its sad to see someone in customer service be so rude as long as they think you cant understand. The interaction left a bad taste in my mouth and Im not planning on going back. To the management of this place, if youre reading this: have an honest conversation with your workers about expectations of manners and professionalism. The place is casual, but its really not that hard to not be rude to your customers.

The food was horrible. Ordered a carne asada burrito and the meat had absolutely no flavor. I asked the short 4 ft. Guy at the register if their chile rellenos were canned or fresh and before finishing my sentence, he cut me off, raised his voice and said they didnt have any and yes everything was fresh, hurrying me and my co-workers up! Place is very small but packed with people who obviously dont know what good Mexican food is.

This is by far the best Mexican place in town. They offer a wide variety of different meat choices that you dont find everywhere, lengua, birria, etc. Im a big fan of their al pastor and their carnitas is really good too. They also have a chips and salsa bar. The salsa is good but not the best Ive ever had, but Im not complaining because okay salsa is better than no salsa.

Great value for burritos. The chips that come with every order a nice bonus. Make sure to grab the green salsa!! Great! Reminds me of a Chipotle type place for quick service and portions. Good food and will return. Theres spots to sit outside and indoors. Parking can be sparse so park up the street and just walk down. They also take orders by phone.

By far the best Mexican food in SLO. Their vegetarian California burrito is my favorite! The staff are always nice and helpful. Food comes out pretty quick, but there is a bit of a decline in quality (down to about 4 stars) when they are really busy. So try to go when they arent quite so busy and youll be impressed!

One of the best taquerias in San Luis Obispo. Their chicken and steak is always cooked to perfection. I highly recommend their California Burrito and theyre Cal Poly burrito. Theyre street tacos are pretty authentic. Note theyre always super busy at night with a line out the door but its well worth the wait.

Finally, good Mexican food in SLO! I had finally accepted the fact that there are no places to get really good Mexican food here in SLO and then I discovered this place. The food and different salsas are soooo good and the prices are probably the lowest in town. Cant beat that.

Among the best Mexican food you can get in SLO. Good Mexican food is hard to come by in SLO so its nice to have this place here. If youre from SoCal or Mexico, this place wont compare, but it just may fill your craving for Mexican food in the Central Coast.

The portions of meat are amazing. Im from the bay area and just took a stab in the dark at coming here for lunch and so far, this is the only place I eat lunch at in SLO when Im here. Cant wait for my next trip to SLO.

Great food that highly recommend, but be aware this is a small order at the counter and self seating. You may not be able to sit there after ordering. Due yourself a favor and get the Pastor meat
