I gave Buffalo Pub & Grill a shot at the behest of a friend who claimed that they had the "Best. Pastrami. Sandwich. Ever." Who could ignore a claim like that? The lunchtime atmosphere seems pretty low-key. Maybe we went on an off-day, but the place seemed pretty laid-back and not too busy. Its definitely a bar so you can get your beer/cocktail on while you wait for the "Best. Pastrami. Sandwich. Ever." When the sandwich in question arrived, I was very pleased by its presentation (Ill attach a photo after this review). It was definitely tasty, but I felt the caramelized onions dominated the overall experience. It didnt rock my world. All in all, I will definitely want to explore their other menu items at some point when I feel like spending a little more money than usual for lunch.

Nice small pub with excellent food. I ate lunch here with a buddy and my wife and it was very good. I had a Teriyaki Mushroom Pineapple burger. The chef here is obviously talented and doing unusual stuff. They did not have any Porter or much dark beer only Guiness, so this is mostly a place for IPA or Ale. The staff was very friendly and there are a couple of tables in the front to do the SLO people watch thing. They are in prime downtown real estate.

This is in my top 5 favorite places down town. They have the best pastrami sandwiches Ive ever had. They have pub food but its fresh made. The specials are always stellar and I wish the cook would do more Italian. He can make a huge variety of delicious food. Good deals at happy hour. The staff is always great and weve made a few friends over the years. Every employee is great at what they do. No amatures here.

The atmosphere here is nice, yet can get a little crowded during rush. The food is better than traditional pub food, and I love that. The cozy atmosphere is welcoming, enhanced by live music and friendly staff. Despite the smaller venue, there is ample seating to enjoy.

Lets just say there are burgers, but nothing . Nothing! Beats the the hungry dude burger. The moment I I had this item off the menu, my world changed. I was smitten. Nothing I say can prove it. But if youre up to a real challenge, this is my idea of Eden in a burger.

Went here for a break from the Farmers Market. Sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly enough. Only gripe was the lack of choices for beer. All the normal stuff with nothing really that new or..unusual.
