A great find in Pismo! They dont take reservations and the place is tiny, but we got a table right away a little after 7pm. They have a funky cool atmosphere, the chairs were a little uncomfortable, but they looked cool. I was there with a 12yo and 9yo, they were very kid friendly and the kids menu had some nice selections. The server was very friendly and helpful. I had the poached shrimp ceviche, it was very light and tasty with a good balance of flavors. My 12yo had the tri-tip sandwich, and he loved it. My 9yo had a kids quesadilla, it was two small flour quesadillas and she liked them, the tortillas looked handmade. We shared the seasoned fries and sweet potato fries, I really liked the sweet potato fries! For dessert they had two options Chocolate mousse and a Raspberry mousse, we ordered one of each and they were equally delicious! I would definitely return on my next trip to the coast!

I absolutely love chop street, every time we go we enjoy the food and the service and we often want to come down from slo if we have the time. I worked at a local hotel and always recommended it to guests who (if they got the chance) really liked it as well. My biggest issue is they seem to have strange hours and never be open when people are wanting to go. Often we would drive down just to find they are closed and now we call every time but sometimes we dont get an answer even when it says they should be open. They also close pretty early for dinner I think. A bummer since wed love to go more often.

Not the old, bland tourist nonsense that is too common in these popular beach towns. Really tasty burgers as vig as toyr head with both classic and funky toppings, and a nice selection of West Coast craft beers. Just a short walk from the beach but far enough away to be free from the maelstrom of tourists. We were very well taken care of Patrick. Remarkable enough that my brother said it was probably the best service he ever had. Oh, and get those bacon cheese tots. You will be glad you did.

I tried this place based on the good reviews on the web, however Im terribly disappointed. The ahi wrap we ordered was really bland and barely had any tuna. The second dish was the earth burger and that was not good as well. The patty was supposed to be a falafel but it was undercooked and tasted like a big heaping pile of bland hummus between two pieces of bread. Their only saving grace was the sweet potato fries, but the main dishes should be the star, not your sides.

Food was pretty good. I had a salmon salad and the salmon was dry but otherwise tasty. I asked for honey mustard with my sweet potato fries (which were delicious) but they didnt have any. A few minutes later the waiter brought me a bowl and said, "We had honey, and we had mustard... I dont know how good this is but try it." I was impressed! It was perfect and the customer service was great.

The Chop Street Burger, despite containing multiple ingredients that I couldnt hope to pronounce, is pretty fantastic. The decor (especially the chairs) is high-quality, the people behind the counter are friendly, and its right on the main drag of Pismo Beach. The only ding is their lack of public Wi-Fi, but this is such a nice place to be that gadgets are best left alone.

it was a rainy day so not very busy, but cute little place. burgers were great, well put together. tritip sandwich was cooked well and seasoned perfectly. the street tacos were very good lots of beef and the chicken ones had a great overall complimenting flavor.

Honestly this is my favorite casual resturaunt. My parents love taking my family here because the food is outstanding, the service is great, and it is super kid-friendly for my younger siblings. If I could give the resturaunt 100 stars I would!

My wife and I love this place! We are locals and avoid the tourist places that give you massive amounts of fried food. Peanutbutter Decadence is my favorite desert of all time! I wish they still had nitro milk stout, though.
