The worst place ever. Bad food and rotten as well, bad bad service. I was really upsets when the waitress Chase me and ask for a tips "screaming wheres my tip" in front of customers when clearly my Kids were still at the table finishing eating so I got up to pay n she sees I dont put a tip on the check runs after me "were is my tip you did not put a tip on your check" oh I was upset told her you have no right to do this what poor customer service you have as well all the others in this restaurant. I told her if you go back and look at the table you can see clearly my son had cash for your tip $5 . So when she seen the $5 tip my son had put down on the table her face reaction was priceless lol. But I told her after this show and you embarrassing me n my kids in front of all this people your not getting tip. And yes I walk out no tip n with her in my back yelling leave my tip in table. Ohhh and they get mad if you dont give them more than $3 tip and they will tell you off in there language or ran after you for more tip$ .. food was bad Sushi was like a day old FYI screaming for food poisoning. Some fruit was rotten and also the buns and some veggies. Be careful smell your food before eating it or your in high risk of getting bad case of food poisoning. I will never go back to this restaurant and dont rescomemde it to anyone. If I can give them a 0 for review I would. There better buffets out there more friendly, better customer service and better fresh food.

Muy mala experiencia horrible servicio las meseras son mulas para atender y tardan para recoger los platos pero eso sí te exijan la propina y si no les das se enojan, otra cosa llegas antes de las tres de la tarde y pagas como lonche pero al mismo tiempo empiezan a poner la cena y te prohiben que toques el menú de la cena y si lo quieres tienes que pagar más están estupidos, espero les sirva este comentario para los que quieran ir a comer ahí .

Es rica la comida pero falta mas preparacion para los meseros hoy me toco un caso que entramos antes de las tres pm y luego pues un compañero tomo comida que era de cena y llega el mesero diciendo te lo canbio por que lo que tomaste es cena un mesero es que si ya te equivocaste pues como sea que no mas que lo cobren y ya pero lo quieren quitar mientras esta comiendo uno eso no es corecto ocupan que estes mas preparados para atender un cliente gracias espero mejoren eso...

3.5 Stars=> I have been regular customer primarily for lunch buffet past 10+ years. During this time, I have seen many other similar Asian buffets open & close because of food quality & price issues! The Tropicana is still open because they understand these two important items & still have many regular customers ( 1/2 Asian & 1/2 Latino)! I have read the negative reviews and find most of them are laughable & without merit! In a buffet situation, YOU are selecting the food items to eat & only have yourself to blame if you pick the wrong items? There are 50+ other hot or cold food items to choose from! Considering the lunch price here is about the same as McD or BK or TB, whichever is a better deal depends on the size of your wallet for a lunch meal!

I didnt like anything at this location.I didnt like the atmosphere and the food were cold and I didnt get to eat most of the food cus my stomach was getting upset.my first time coming to this place and my last.I been to other buffet but this by far not a good place and I wouldnt recommend anybody to eat here.its not worth $60 to spend and eat here..im not just saying that but its true even my family didnt like it n also got upset stomach..please dont spend ur money eating here cus ur gonna regret it..im just being honest...and the waitress had the nerve to ask bout the tip..just be glad i was nice enough to spend $60 at the place i didnt really eat..

I love the food but i hate how you have to give them tips and one time as i was getting iut of the restaurant with my father the lady stopped us quick for a and my dad toldbher that no that he only brought money for the ffod and ge said sorry and than the girl was like "oh but i took the plates and stuff" and my dad was like i dont have to give u a tip and she went off and told this other worker and started bitching about it and my dad was like I dont have money i only brought to eat if hw had more money carried with him he would of give her a tip and than the worker was soo pissed and she told us to LEAVE people dont go there

Luncheon with friends and they are impress on the buffet foods that was so delicious and fresh. all the crow fish, crabs, shrimp,veggies are fresh . all items in the menus are all delicious . The quality and quantity are better than others. prices are right and the customer service especially at the front desk , welcome you with smile and walk thru your table. Senior price too. I will recommend and back again this seafood buffet restaurant.

If I could rate this place it would be a -0! This place was really bad.. the food was cool as F*** ! I basically went it for 10min I didnt touch the food my bf must of ate 3 spoons till he realized the food was NASTY! I had a talk with the manager she was rude as hell. I mean at least offer to warm up my food or something but she did nothing... "WARNING DO NOT ENTER THIS PLACE"

The experience was and is HORRIBLE!!! they chased me down for a tip,I sid I didnt have amy and guess what!! They charged me $10 from my account! They wrote their own damn tip! Wtf!! I went to my bank and I told them Igot robbed , the got my money back, went to the store and confronted them, they got mad I got their tip back! F*** you staff!

This buffet is 100 times better than hometown buffet. The selections are great. Crabs, shrimps, fish, and much more great seafoods. The food is cooked just right, tender,and tasty. Nothing like the plain,dry over cooked food at Hometown buffet. Rating of 1 to 10, Hometown Buffet is a 03. Tropicana Chinese Buffet is a 9.

The waitress are stone-faced. Foods are plain. They have seafood, but it looks not enticing. The place is aloud, many kids are playing and crying around, it is not clean, too. The bathroom is not clean. Their sushi is shrivelled and not taste good. My grandparents seem love here with a variety of food they like,

Honestly the worst service I ever got at any restaurant. They obligate you into giving them tips,in fact one of the workers got mad because they were given a $1 tip and he stomped out of the room and Im pretty he even said a cuss word in another language. Ungrateful. Never again will I come here.
