Seemed great at first taste, and was so excited to find a decent chinese food place in santa cruz but then i cut into a walnut prawn and it was grey...and not de-veined...and then the beef wonton was either not wrapped correctly or the beef was just falling apart maybe overcooked? Very disappointed, even their sweet and sour chicken was too thick and bready the ratio of chicken there was awful. The Wor Wont Ton soup was to sketchy for me as i detailed the prior shrimp concern and the chicken was too chewy just a big fat disappointment. Spent $50 and wish i had gone elsewhere...staff is friendly and delivery was quick/on time= the only plus...

Everything Ive eaten here is delicious! Top quality food, the best Chinese in Santa Cruz--I havent tried ALL of the restaurants but I have tried a LOT of them and their food all pales in comparison for sure. They make the best chicken fried rice Ive ever eaten, and I highly recommend the Sizzling Clay Pot of Peppered Chicken with Chefs Sauce....it makes my mouth water just thinking about it! A nicely decorated and very clean place, always a plus.

Good food and staff is (although not always happy) very helpful and fast. I have had lunch here many times when I only have 30 minutes and the food is super fast yet hot and excellent. They will also add whatever meat you would like added to your dish. They make an eggplant with garlic sauce that isnt very spicy but excellent in flavor and includes quite a bit of that wood ear mushroom(which satisfies me).

Yum! Really pleasantly surprised by this place. Good soup, very generous portions for the dinner combo which included tasty pork rice, egg roll, chicken lo mein and broccoli beef. The wontons are delicious! The service was fast and helpful and the parking is plentiful. A worthy Chinese food option in Santa Cruz!

Best Chinese food. Fresh, not oily. Wonderful staff, very friendly. Dont know where Meghan and Julian ate, but hard to believe it was here. Owned by a wonderful family that has always gone out of their way to please us. Frozen? Not in the 6+ years we have have been eating with the current and previous owners.

Service is great and the food is delicious with a fantastic portion. The three dinner specials are amazing. You get some variety for a great price, and it is usually enough food to split with two people (but it will depend on the people). I highly recommend and have already gone back several times.

Lunch specials are a deliciously good deal. You pick an entree item that comes with rice (excluding chow mein meals) and you get soup and salad beforehand. The staff are super nice! The garlic chicken chow mein is so yummy. My favorite Chinese restaurant in Santa Cruz by far.

The food was near unpalatable - definitely purchased frozen. When I tried to return the dish, they refused to do so (despite having taken only one bite). The manager was very rude about the situation, I would avoid as there are plenty of better places within walking distance.

Shun Feng might be the best Chinese restaurant in Santa Cruz. We had Wor Wonton Soup, Singapore Noodles and Beef and Asparagus. The beef dish lacked flavor, but the veggies and meat were fresh and well-cooked. The soup and noodles were spot on! Well be back!

We came here for lunch, the food was great but the service was terrible. They never gave us rice with our lunch special even though the menu said it came with rice, waiter didnt even hand us menus our our soup, he just put out on the table in a pile.

Dont let the location/exterior fool you, this is way better than your standard Chinese food! Food was amazing. Wait staff was nice, nobody hurried you along your way at the end of the meal. Eggplant dish was OFF THE CHAIN!!! Cant wait to get it again.

Good service but very mediocre food. I got the Mongolian beef which came out of the kitchen before our appetizer -- meat was tough and the temperature of food was lukewarm. Very disappointing given all the other positive reviews.

Excellent service and they happily cater to vegans. Love that they have brown rice too. Although last time they had run out. :o/ I highly recommend this place and have been back several times.
