So glad the mall has an Indian curry place! I have been here several times, and Ive enjoyed each time! This time we got chicken tikka pizza! Its different than Curry Pizza (I think thats what that pizza place is called). This is naan with chicken tikka masala with cheese. Different. Fusion. Fun. I like all their curries and their selection. They also make special drinks there. We got mango ginger and strawberry ginger drinks. The staff are also always friendly and you can try samples. Ill be back!

Found this gem while visiting the Bay Area. Fantastic curries! I happen to be picky and I was blown away by the flavors of their curries. My favorite is the chicken korma with its layers of flavors on the palate. Superb! Im a self-proclaimed mango lassi connoisseur, and I have to say this by far the best mango lassi I have had in CA. so far. Impressive! You simply have to try this place! We have nothing like this in Orange County-hopefully they will open there soon!

Superb Indian Food! I love getting veggie samosas and chick pea masala when I go to Indian restaurants. Curry Roots lured me in with their sample and did not disappoint!! The spiciness is present in their curries but not overpowering. The lemon rice was delicious as well. You also get a couple of samosas for free if youre seeing a movie upstairs! I cant rave enough about this place and Ive only eaten here once. I will definitely be coming back.

I ordered chicken tikka masala with lemon rice. The tikka masala was delicious! The lemon rice, on the other hand, had yellow hard bits. I couldnt quite figure out if it was uncooked corn or lemon seeds. They didnt have any taste. I was not a fan. Service wad great. They had several samples which are always helpful when trying new foods. I would go back and get the same thing with white rice and maybe try their naan.

The guy working there was awesome. the food was amazing! they were more than willing to let me try every single dish that they make. everything was warm and fresh, the naan was really good. I didnt expect much because its an Indian restaurant in the mall but, it was actually the best Indian food Ive had, the chicken vindaloo was my favorite. Lemon rice was delicious too! -Guy who tried bakra and saw Ghajini

We come here for dinner even when we dont need to go shopping at the mall because not only is the food amazing, the staff is always extremely friendly and there is never a wait. I usually get the tikka masala and my wife gets the korma. The food has the perfect level of spice and their mango lassis are home made and delicious. Looking forward to our next trip to Curry Roots!

You will not believe this gem is in the mall. Curry Roots has the most amazing selection of sauces...their tikka masala and chicken korma are my favorites. Their palak paneer (spinach with cheese) is to die for, too. Get it with the lemon rice for some extra flavor. The staff are the nicest folks ever, too. I love it so much I go nearly every week!

I had the Plate with 2 curries and a side. Delicious! Chose the Chicket Tikka Masala, Chicken Vindaloo with Lemon Rice. The rice was the highlight being very fluffy and light with a nice lemon undertone. Both curries were very tasty with rich flavors and tender chicken. Great value at 9 bucks, and a great surprise for a food court.

Worst nine dollars Ive ever spent . Im wondering how chicken could even be so dry and tasteless when submersed in liquid " coconut curry flavored" soup sauce.The basmati rice was prepared with no seasoning whatsoever, tasteless and terrible. I made it through 4 bites and had to toss it Nice folks though.

Not sure how some folks rated this so low but, really the best Curry Ive had in the area, mall venue aside even. Test the flavors to find your favorite, I really liked the chicken tika and the Mango Curry, nann was also amazing. Super friendly staff and yummy homemade juices too.

I had been to this Indian food place one day ago . Oh its horrible . I had lemon rice , which was over cooked and had a bad taste .chicken curries too much of Garam Malasa , and I dont no why they dont have a good choice . I donot recommend this place , its not worth the money .

Im usually very suspect of mall restaurants, but this one is shockingly delicious and not overpriced. Probably the only negative about this restaurant is that it requires braving mall traffic and parking, but its well worth the trip.

Somehow I got charged for $17!! Chickpea masala & paneer with rice wasnt even hot & a bit bland, Ive had better Indian food elsewhere for much cheaper. Only the naan was hot. This is coming from someone who grew up with desi friends!!

Wow dont know how this place got 4 stars! Tried once and basically the food was not at all tasty (bland like some others say, so its not just one messed up order), below par than what Indian food is! Definitely avoid.

Mar 16th - Just sampled many delicious choices at Curry Roots in Oakridge mall and I bought a bowl of the lemon rice with the Chicken Tikka Masala and WOW! it was GREAT! You have to go and try it for yourself.
