If you are looking for Outstanding food combined with consistently Outstanding service, Pozzetto is the place. My husband and I found this small restaurant purely by chance while antiquing in Sand Dimas. When we walked by the restaurant, the incredible smell of Italian came wafting up our noses! We went in and were not disappointed. Start with the amazing Jack AKA Deep, who is the owner. He is Indian, but boy, does he know his Italian stuff! He is backed up by the most talented (and really cute) chef Daniel, who the last time we ate there, was serving tables and cooking, so we had the opportunity to get to know him and talk food. Food: that is the best- I mean hands down best alfredo sauce ever made. cream, cheese, garlic, nutmeg all speak clearly and individually. It is super delicious and rich with none of the thickeners that often make alfredo sauce feel heavy and pasty on your tongue. Being a vegetarian, I cant speak for all the dishes, but both my husband and daughter (who also is an enthustiatic foodie) enjoyed chicken pasta dishes. What brought us back- besides the amazing full flavored tomato basil soup- was the intimate service. If you are looking for a dining experience that is memorable, incredible food and service, I highly recommend Pozzetto. Good food, good wine selection, fantastic service, small intimate surroundings. They have got it going on. Share your review * Share on Facebook * Share on Twitter * Email to friends

We were in town from Birmingham, AL for the BCS championship game staying in San Dimas and were looking for a great meal without having to drive to Pasadena, LA, etc....After searching the internet we thought we would give Pozzettos a try. What a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere and ambiance were a perfect way to start out our experience. We were greated by the owner as well as very friendly staff. My husband ordered the lasagna and I ordered the shrimp parmigiana. They were both fabulous choices. Each had their own taste and the seasoning was perfect. With the salad, bread, entree and spumoni (wonderful surprise at the end of the meal) there was more than enough food for the both of us. Although we dined early for a Friday evening, the restaurant was steadily busy and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals. We highly recommend Pozzettos and if ever back in San Dimas, we will be sure to dine there again. It was a fabulous experience. For local and visiting patrons, I give it two thumbs up. Roll Tide!!!

Pozzettos has been my favorite dining experience for almost a decade now. Stellar service, fantastic prices, and most important, delicious, excellent, VERY, very tasty Italian food. Made to order (try that today in a restaurant; they will show you the door). Recently, I enjoyed dinner at Pozzettos with my date, who attended Le Cordon Bleu in France; he selected the Veal Parmesan. "Best veal I have had in many a year", quoting him (but my favorite is the Sausage and Peppers). Fresh garlic bread; wonderful atmosphere (indoor/outdoor dinning), dedicated, professional service; a family-owned old-fasioned dining experience. You are missing out if you do not try it; you will be hooked if you do. Pozzettos - exquisite for the palate as well as the "prego". Grin.

My husband and I moved to San Dimas about a year ago and we had been looking for a local little Italian restaurant that had really good food. We had walked past Pozzettos several times in the past and always said we wanted to try it and tonight we finally did. The only thing that I am unhappy about is that we did not try this place sooner. It is everything I have wanted in an Italian restaurant. Its a quaint little place with a great atmosphere and family friendly, the food was delicious and fresh, and the service was excellent! There was even a big party when we went and the place was packed, but we were still given outstanding service. We will definitely be returning here the next time we have a craving for Italian food!

Owner or manager lacks people skills. He and his waitress were not friendly and attentive at all. Missed ingredient on pizza. Unwelcome to children. No napkins and silverware offered to them. Had to ask halfway through meal. Bread for soup was brought until we were almost done with it. When I asked for pizza plates, the five plate pile was given to me impatiently while I am holding a sleeping baby on one arm. Parmesan cheese was offered until we were almost done eating. The Parmesan was tasteless, might as well eat shredded cardboard. The Coup de gras, they accidentally dropped a knife and fork within an inch of my sleeping babys head and my leg. Not planning on returning

A friend of mine and I have been wanting to try out some new places to eat. We had seen this place while jogging, as well as, driving in downtown san dimas. Its a very safe, very nice area. So we finally tried it today and we were very pleasantly surprised! The service was great! Our waiter was more of a host and was very amiable! The food was excellent, from the soup, to the appetizer, to the main pasta dish, and even an unexpected dessert. The atmosphere is great! (especially when you have good company :D) It is quite reminiscent of a small restaurant in Italy. I will definitely go back to try more of the dishes, all of which look enticing! It is definitely worth trying!

This is the best restaurant I have ever eaten at. The food is amazing; from the appetizer, to the entree and wine, and to the delicious spumoni! The service is extraordinary, and the environment is perfect. The waiter was far more than just a server. He acted like family, spoiling us to the bone. It was such an enjoyable evening that Im writing a review about it! After today my friend and I decided to make Pozzettos a regular. Pozzetto Tuesdays! I cant wait to try the other dishes! Everything at Pozzettos was just right. The food speaks for itself, and the service adds that extra umph to your night! Its a MUST go to!!

My wife, three year old son and I were in San Dimas for a bike race and I really wanted to carbo up for the race. My google search for an Italian restaurant led me to Pozzettos. Thinking this might be a hole in the wall, my expectations were not high. Had they been, I would not have been disapointed. The food was excellent and the service was great. I had the chicken marsala and my wife had chicken parmigiana. Our server brought out our sons food early (without us asking) which was thoughtful and kept him busy! A very good dining experience - you will not be disappointed!

I dont know where anyone who wrote the earlier reviews have been but they really need to find another place. This place is garbage plain and simple. I got the chicken parm; which is tough to screw up. Somehow this dump managed to do just that. The wine list is terrible on top of that. The soup (tomato basil) tasted like someone dumped it out of a can and added a shaker of salt. Heres a tip for anyone thinking of trying this place, go to the grocery store and get a premaid package of chicken parm. As long as you dont burn it, it will be 10x better than Pozzettos!
