A favourite local spot of mine for years. Perhaps its the unconventional use of a lot near the beach to be a tented coffee house/plant store. Perhaps its the warm and friendly baristas and interesting OB folk who gather here (with or without their pooches). Though without a doubt, the great coffee plays a leading role in why this spot is so dear to me. It may be a jungle out there, but peace prevails when inside Jungle Java. Peace, kindness and great coffee drinks.

ive been coming here with my kids for 8 years now. the service is friendly and the atmosphere is totally relaxed. its an outdoor coffee shop with a covered area for damp cold days. Its dog friendly for friendly dogs, and the employees are great at keeping transients from hasseling the clients. Its a great place to have a cup of coffee and enjoy O.B.

Iconic relaxing tropical cafe in OB San Diego. Great place to read or people watch. Several street side tables outside and good assortment of seating inside . Friendly staff. Good Coffee drinks. Free WiFi. Dog friendly place :) They usually close early around 2pm. One of my favorites in all of San Diego.

Love the vibe. Its an outdoor spot between 2 buildings not far from beachfront. I got the super g which includes ghirardelli white chocolate. Very delicious on a cool day. Coffee is rich with a tang. But this place is all about location, location, location.

Cuuuute place to dip in and chill out! Barista lady was super friendly and our drinks were great. Good for chilling out and grabbing a quick drink. Because its a coffee cart though, they dont really serve food but allow you to bring your own from outside!

Very cool spot for coffee and tea. Cool staff, cool quasi-outdoor hangout full of plants. Great vibe, unique to OB. You could get some run-of-the-mill-chemical Starbucks drink, or go with character and chill out here.

Just an all around really great atmosphere and clientele. And the employees are more than "workers"... They become your friends very easily after your second visit here. Id give it SIX stars, if I could!

I went here on my birthday, trying to start the day right by having coffee and a nice walk by the beach. The coffee was pretty good, location was a kind of cool outdoor thing, but nothing was amazing.

Good coffee, really nice courtyard, loss of 2 stars for not having a bathroom and the fact that the staff was constantly smoking cigarettes at a central table in the courtyard... Gross!

Good experience although value leaves a little to be desired. Small beverages are 8z medium 11z and large 16z...prices are in high 3s for small and almost 5 for large.
