I wanted to like this place so much. The interior is charming and the women who took my order was very friendly. The gyoza was delicious and I was optimistic, but then the sushi... Was not good. I was hit with an immediate fishy smell opening the box. I tried to figure out if it was coming from just one type of fish but couldnt. I was starving, so I ate a lot of it anyways, but a lot of it just tasted off. The fish must be old, stored improperly, or both. Perhaps the rest of the cooked food would be better, but I probably wont risk it in case its a food storage issue.

The spicy ramen is amazing. Easily my personal favorite in Mira Mesa. They use the 1-10 system, and its no joke. (If you enjoy typical red sauce from the local Mexican joints youll probably have to stay around 4-5.) Staff is friendly and attentive with a pretty cozy decor. If you dine in though, keep in mind there is only a single bathroom for all staff and customers. Bonus points for to go ramen. Broth is kept separate from ingredients and are placed on cardboard to prevent spilling.

Funny sushi names, but the beef from the bento box felt tough to eat. The ramen broth and noodles were good but it wasnt the best ramen Ive had. I appreciate the attentiveness of the staff, they were all nice and welcoming. They often asked if we liked the good or if we needed anything. They were also quick to clean if anyone finished up early. A lot can be improved in the food but it was overall a great experience!

Sushi is "ok" as in edible, but lacks taste. We arrived at 740pm and didnt get our "food" (one soup bowl) until about 815pm then everything came in like 5 minute intervals. Took them 10 mins just bring us a side of sauce and saracha. I been to many sushi places and this one I will not be returning to. Word to the staff: Invest in a larger staff and invest in quality ingredients.

Go Go Sushi & Ramen great happy hour every day! really fun to come with a group- you can sit by the window at a sunken table and when you need your waiters attention you turn on a light above you table and they appear immediately! all restaurants should use this system! fab local spot.

Great food, really nice staff. Id recommend the all you can eat and the ramen. They have a lot of fun with their sushi rolls. Id use the all you can eat to try some of them out. But dont leave leftovers! Could taste the grill on the teriyaki chicken. Absolutely delicious. ❤❤

I ordered an eel roll to go which came with a bite of seaweed salad. It was pretty average. For $7, you can get better sushi elsewhere. The staff seemed friendly though. If you come on Monday or Tuesday, they have all-you-can-eat sushi for $23 which seems decent.

Love the bentos that come with a little bit of everything. I even had food leftover to take home for lunch the next day! Service was really nice, and they have these awesome macaroon ice cream sandwiches!

Went while on vacation & ended up sick as ever! Lowest quality sushi I have ever had! If subway made a sushi roll it would have been better. Stay away from this establishment & alert your friends
