This place was highly recommended by a friend. We came with 4 adults and 4 kids. We were sat and waited a good 10 minutes before the waitress would come to take our order. Once she came we ordered the food but she seem very bother that we asked about different options. We asked for more chopstick and spoons which again she seems to be bother. We were only given one piece of napkin each and we waited a long time to ask for more because she didnt bother to check to see if we were doing okay or if we need anything. However, at the end she had a decency to tell us that she will charged us $25.86 for tip. These people dont seem as if they care for second visit from their customers. The foods was okay not one of the best tofu house.

Walking into the restaurant made me feel like I would enjoy the food. The place was very neat but unfortunately the food wasnt. My sister and I order the seafood tofu soup and Bibimbap and were very disappointed. The soup was very bland that I had to put about 3 spoonfuls of salt and some sprinkle of pepper just to bring out the flavor. The Bibimbap was decent. Aside from the spicyness, there really wasnt much flavor to it as well. The only good thing about this place is its numerous side dishes! There were 15 of them! Wow! And i love everyone of them.

I stayed in Davis for two years, as I was a visiting scholar to UC Davis. My wife and son yearned for Korean food for the whole visiting period. Since in Davis I couldnt find a decent Korean restaurant, Ive searched here and there, tried this and that. This YD house was my familys choice of Korean food. Their food is rather authentic, than Americanized. Their food is one of the best among Korean restaurants in West Coast. Highly recommended for those who want authentic Korean food.

Went here twice a few years ago and have not been back. I happen to see this place again when I was in the neighborhood today and thought I write about my past experiences. From what I can remember, the food was great and authentically Korean, especially their many side dishes. But the service was horrendous. Hence the reason for not returning. Food wise: 5 stars Service wise: 1 star Racist staffs: 0 star unless youre Korean, you get bare minimum service.

I really like YD House. This is my go-to place for Korean food. I like the small side dishes that come w/ the meal. You can literally fill yourself up w/ the side dishes and rice. The Kalbi rib and seafood pancake are pretty good. The fried chicken with house sauce is a little spicy. A nice hole in a wall place. One down side is the staffing. They always seem to be short-staff so you will have to wait for your food. Not excessively long wait but enough.

The best service I ever enjoyed in my entire life, literally. The host is not only trilingual but also extremely amiable. This place feels like home. As someone whos grown up having Korean food this is one of the best I had. Food is under priced and you can literally get infinitely more kimchi or rice upon request, or should I say they offer to give you more. This is my first comment left here at google. I am doing this just for this restaurant.

This place is amazing. Food is delicious!. They had more sides than any other place Ive been and we usually wipe out all but one or two. Great value, never feel sick even if I leave stuffed. Looking forward to my next visit. Update: They forgot my (bulgolgi) order on the last visit but made up for it in sides. I never leave hungry and it was so delicious it was worth the wait.

Its a good place to try a wide variety of Korean dishes. The servers are nice and friendly. They check in often and make sure everything is okay. Its best if you plan to go with friends and eat family style. Be prepared to spend $15-20 per person, but with the crazy number of banchan (side dishes) they provide its like two meals in one.

Delicious Korean food in Folsom boulevard. If you havent had Korean food before, this is a fun place to try first. You order your main dishes and then are given something like 18 little appetizers ranging from cole slaw to tiny crabs. Add a small bowl of rice and youre set. Food is good, service is great.

They get pretty busy here, but its worth it becuase they serve the best side dishes Ive ever had. Only complaint I have is how expensive dinner is, which is double the price of lunch. Atleast make the portions bigger. Other than that the ladies there who serve you are super sweet. Ill definitely come back.

This is the BEST korean restaurant in Sacramento by far. They serve lots of delicious side dishes not comparable with other korean restaurants. Even in LA serve like that. The taste is like authentic home made food prepared by aunt. Every time when I visit Sacramento never miss eat here.

This place is all about the sides. The Bulgogi is for sure the best plate to order and it come out on a small cast iron dish at about 1000°. But the sides are what make this place, lots and lots of sides that come with the dish. Have a little adventure and try this place out.

The pork ribs and pork neck stew are both great - I can Never just choose one so we always do both and bring home leftovers. The salad is also very good (comes with the meal). Fast service go early to avoid the long lines. Parking in the lot is around the corner

Service can be a bit slow and confusing, as there is a bit of language barrier, but the food is great at a decent price. Order your food and get about 17 plates of side dishes thrown in. The spicy pork was the best. Flavorful and moist.

Man, they hook it up with the side dishes here. Usually 16 or so sides plus whatever youre ordering. The quality is good and the service is friendly. If I dont feel like stuffing my face at an AYCE Korean BBQ joint this is my go-to.

Very impressive selection of flavors. They served up our main dishes with 20 bowls of various condiments ranging from seaweeds, kimchis, dried fish, etc. I highly recommend this location and will be returning soon.

One of the most authentic Korean places in Sacramento. They serve you a ton of side dishes with your meal. My personal favorite dish is the Yangnum Chicken which is fried chicken drenched in a sweet spicy sauce.

STAY AWAY They have bunch of menus they dont really offer and they asked for 25% tip even though we didnt get what we wanted and they dont even accept split. This is the worst Korean restaurant Ive ever went

Tried authentic Korean for the first time, not too crazy about it. The short ribs were good but the chicken even better. I ordered the mackerel it was average. Waitress was cordial place was clean.

Best Korean food Ive ever eaten. And I live in NYC. The couple we were with said the same thing and they live in San Francisco. The prices were reasonable and the service was excellent.

Really great take on Korean food. I hesitate to call it fusion as the authenticity is there. More like modern Korean? Anyways, good stuff, very fresh ingredients. Service was great too.
