Well the food was pretty good, however the service is TERRIBLE!!! Our servver Kim had zero personality. We had a party of 8, 7 people ordered their buffet, I ordered their orange chicken. I barely ate my orange chicken (wasnt very good), and had a little bit of my husbands meat from the buffet (literally 5 bites of tiny pieces of meat) When we got our bill my husband and I were charged for 2 buffets, and orange chicken meal. When we told Kim that only one of us ate the buffet she snapped back wiht an attitude of "I specifically told you you would be charged for the full buffet if I saw you eating it." So I snapped back with go get your manager. Instead fo waiting for a manager I got up and went to the front, Esther was the manager on duty and I explained waht was going on while Kim wanted to interrupt me the whole time. I finally turned to her letting her know how incredibly rude and unprofessional she is being by arguing with me, maybe she did say I would be charged for it, but truthfully 8 people didnt hear you... would a normal person be that made being charged $30 just for giggles... um no... so yes I"m going to be mad! Esther graciously enough took off the second buffet while Kim choses to argue with me, and I finally snappedd back that she truly has ZERO customer service skills and incredibly unprofessional and I hopd that she gets traning on that. While we were waiting for the other tabs to be paid her "server friend" comes by to "buss our table" while shes sticking up for her friend. It amazes me how unprofessional these girls are, I"ve worked in rest. and I currently work in the customer service industry, if I dare argued back with my customers I would have my head on the chopping block. I really hope the management sits down with their servers and teaches them a thing or two on "Customer Service" and what they can and cant say to a customer. Really sad experiance been in the area for 8 years never tried this place and plan on never going back!

I went to Oz Korean BBQ for the first time yesterday. We had been thinking about getting the lunch special, but since it was a holiday, the lunch special wasnt available, and we had the "The All You Can Grill & Eat" instead. (Everyone at the table has to get All You Can Eat when you order it--which makes sense.) It "comes with unlimited choices of BBQ items, Side Dishes, Wasabi Salad and Steamed White Rice". We ended up being happy that we had the AYCE, since we were able to try a lot of things, and it was a nice interactive experience sharing the different dishes between the four of us. The one downside is that you end up smelling like food. The staff was friendly and attentive & we loved all of the BBQ options we tried: Sesame Beef, Bul Go Gi (marinated rib eye), Sweet Pork, Garlic Chicken (I dont see this on the online menu & I dont remember if it was on the menu there, so remember to ask for it!), BBQ Chicken (you can ask for Teriyaki sauce on the side), & maybe something else?... The Fried Potstickers were great and I also really enjoyed the Jobchae (rice noodles), Broccoli (which comes with a sweet creamy sauce), & the Wasabi salad (Ive heard wasabi has a strong flavor, but this salad isnt strong at all. It was was a crisp & fresh cabbage salad that went well with the grilled meat.) The food is very delicious! If you havent been here, you should try it!

The wait is really terrible here but that is an indication how good the food is! The meat and seafood are unlimited but they do try to pace you by limiting it to 3 dishes at a time regardless of your party size. Of course the amount do differ (bigger bowl of meat for party of 6, etc.). Youre limited to 2 appetizers at a time. I love their sweet chili chicken wings, Cajun fries, and pot stickers. It is far too easy to leave this place in a food coma. I am only giving it 4 stars because as far as Korean food goes, there should be more side dishes and fresh lettuce should not cost $1 extra per plate. It is somewhat expensive given the fact most people cant eat that much. However, if you know where to look you can get ~25% discount. Oh yeah side note: dont wear your best clothes here. You will leave smelling like food. We have a routine of hitting the shower the first thing when we get home. If were not going directly home, i leave my jacket in the car.

Ever since the new OZ K BBQ opened up in Elk Grove, I havent visited this one as much. This is the original OZ BBQ in the Sacto. area. Its a lot smaller than the Elk Grove store, and the wait can be really long during peak hours. Unfortunately this store still does not take reservations, so youll need to grab your party and head in earlier than your intended dinner time. Or at the minimum, head in around 30-40 minutes earlier during peak time, and put your name down on the list. By the time your party shows up, itll only be a 15-30 minute wait. Obviously if youre here, go for the AYCE. If youre coming with a big party, or if you are going to come multiple times, go to a local Costco and pick up gift cards, $150 for $200 worth of AYCE. Wear clothes that you are ok with smelling like Korean BBQ after you leave the restaurant.

An amazing experience if you have the time and appetite. They offer All You Can Eat Korean BBQ, which allows you to enjoy a large variety of meats. From your classic style steak to shrimp, pork, chicken, and everything else in between. At any given time while youre enjoying the All You Can Eat BBQ, you can have up to four different meat choices and two appetizers at your table. Once you finish one plate of meat or appetizer, you can order more and keep going until you are full. Keep in mind that this place will get SUPER busy on weekends, so if you want to enjoy a great lunch or dinner here, you should plan to come early and be prepared to wait until a table becomes available.

You have to plan your weekend around it but it is so good and worth it! This location still has fans overhead so youll get smoke in your face with the marinated meats and you will smell like everything you ate. Great selection of meats and veggies. Service is good for how busy and packed it can be on a Saturday. They have sports playing on the TVs but it was the night of the mcgregor/mayweather fight and it was too expensive to put on...? We couldnt find it anywhere anyway but thats e. Parking can be tricky on a Saturday night for sure. I would try this for lunch sometime and I bet youll have a generally easier time but the same energy and ambiance wont be there

Very expensive. Although it is all you can it, I dont understand why do they have to throw away the food you dont order, but they bring it to you anyway (like appetizers that are on the table before you are even seated)? Seems wasteful. Usually when we go out to eat and spend over $50, we come back with two boxes of leftovers which are then used to have dinner on the next day. Here on the other hand, you cant take the food you cannot finish. Doesnt seem to be a fair value of ~$50. The food tasted okay. Ive expected more. Besides, most of the staff have a strong asian accent which is very difficult to understand along with all the noise going on around you.
