Ordered yellow curry, eggplant, and pad thai. I read some reviews before checking it out since price was cheap. However I would never recommend anyone to go here unless you have a salty taste bud or looking for cheap thai food . If I could upload videos of the curry ,you could see how watery the curry is . It looks like theyve just put stingy amount of their own yellow curry paste, they didnt cook it in a pot but rather a stir fry pan for the curry since I was watching them cook it. A lot of onions than meat, really salty, not enough meat about 5-9 max , rarely carrots and potatoes. Pad thai was sour,soggy, didnt look like pad thai. Looks like excessive soy sauce on noodles . Eggplant was also watery , salty , and small portion. Would not come back at all

Just called in a minute ago and wanted to order "to go." I barely understood the lady and she was rushing me and she was rude. Not a good a good sign for a restaurant like this. Ive eaten in several Thai restaurants and they were very courteous and classy. Definitely not a classy establishment. Some of the reviews I read about their food wasnt good but I was willing to give them a try inspite of this. I would not recommend this place based on their customer service. If they dont employ good people, Im sure their food is mediocre at best.

Best Thai food in Sacramento. Having many members of my family from Thailand, who cook very well, I am a Thai food snob, and Simply Thai is EXCELLENT food!! They are very courteous and the lady is very sweet and has remembered our family every time we have been to the restaurant...she even remembers what we ordered on previous visits. They make your food to order and how ever you like it. They are a true Thai restaurant

You know youve found a good Thai restaurant when their Tom Kha is on point!! Seriously one of the best in town. Ive had several dishes from this location including; the Pad Thai, Yum Woon Sen, and Som Tum, just to name a few, and each one is made extremely well. Im always beyond satisfied when I go here. Their Thai Iced Tea is not too sweet either which I personally like. Check it out for some serious Thai!!

All eight of us loved what we ordered and were charmed when grandmother (the chef) came out to hug us all goodbye when we left. This family restaurant is plain and in a strip mall, but the people and the food were great! We enjoyed the view into the kitchen from our large front table. Id definitely go back there.

I have been to this place twice now since its the only Thai place close to my work. Unfortunately, Ive never been able to taste the food because the service is so slow that I run out of lunch time by the time they come around to taking my order. I wish they would have service staff so I could try the food.
