I live about 270 miles from Sacramento but go to Sac once in 2-3 months. I recently went to this restaurant and the store. The cleanliness of the restaurant, friendliness of the staff and the price at the restaurant would get 4 stars from me but the store attached to the restaurant has not many Indian/Pakistani stuff that are normally available in this size store elsewhere. The prices were little on the higher side of all the 20 plus items that I bought on that day(I think we would have overall paid $10 to $12 more in the $200 grocery). I would go to this restaurant again as my overall experience was pretty good.

I grew up getting taken to Sacramento all the way from the bay area on multiple occasions and it easily became my favorite spot growing up. Its like any other halal market which has fresh meat to frozen salami! The most unique thing here is that they have Fried chicken!!!!! as well as hamburgers also! I recommend you try some! And by the way make sure dont come Jummah time because it is closed while everyone is praying! The prices are decent and you will enjoy the restaurant thats a welcome addition to the market!

Legends say this is a best asian restaurant+store in Sacramento and I reckon they are not wrong. But I would mention one or two disadvantages it has: IT IS PRICY AS HELL and THIS STORE IS SO TINY AND IT WILL GET CROWDED SO EASILY other than that if you are from Pakistan, you will find most of the items conveniently. You read my review, now put your phone down and spend some quality time here. Warning: If you are one of those that loathe being around crowded placea, then dont visit this store on FRIDAYS!

Ive been going here for 16 years I live a few blocks from here I pretty much just go in there and get my Gatorade and my Red Bull my soda my chips I do once in a while get a hamburger and fries pretty good good prices Ive never ate at the buffet. Good people here. I used to buy my cigarettes here years ago and they stop selling them they do have mostly Pakistani stuff I believe Ive always been treated with respect here.

Decent store for Indian and Middle Eastern groceries. Prices are reasonable and service is okay. Some commenters here accusing them of stealing money. I think they are all from rival arab stores and they are false. This store is always Super busy and Often time the owner of East West Foods served me at the register with courtesy. Bad mouthing another will never bring prosperity to one.
