I have been fortunate to know about Chans Restaurant for several years. I have moved twice within the same area and continue to order and enjoy their delivery service. They have some of the very best Chinese food in all of Sacramento - and I am a devotee of Chinese food. I love their sesame chicken, their chicken chow-mien and many of the other creations they come up with - like asparagus cashew chicken (in season) etc. They were also kind enough to sell us some individually wrapped fortune cookies that we gave out at our Halloween display. They sold them to us very cheaply, Im sure at their cost. It is a very family run business and they take great pride in their food and presentation and delivery. You cant go wrong with Chans -I will say after over 20 years with them.

Hole in the wall type joint. I would never have went in there if I was just passing by. I would laugh if I seen someone goin in or coming out. But since my co workers took me there, I have been hooked. At first it was the mongolian beef, now Im hooked on the singapor nooles. Chans is the best..I wish they would fix up their building a little though. I know they are making enough money to do so.

I love Chans, great food with great service.Everything I have tried has been delicious( and I have tried a lot). I even ordered some of their family share meals for a staff meeting and got my co-workers hooked too! Try them once and you will love their great tasting food :-)

My reviews are all relative and based on similar food local and elsewhere. I thought the food was okay. Not fantastic and not horrific, but just okay. If you are looking for decent Chinese food it works. If you want a meal that is off the charts this isnt it.

Quite possibly the best Chinese take-out in the area. The Szechuan special is our favorite. Try the Mongolian beef! And also the Walnut glazed shrimp for something unique you probably had nowhere else.
