So far so good. A nice Chinese food option in Northern Sacramento. Parking lot is small because it competes with other retail outlets. Inside is nicely decorated; It has your typical upscale styling like in Chinese Banquet restaurants but it is has some unique flare. We liked most of the dishes that we ordered. We recommend the spicy green bean and pork dish, the fried chicken wings were delicious, ma po tofu was a winner. I wouldnt recommend the emperors chicken. The portions are large and resembling priced. Only negative is that rice is per bowl. When you have a family of 15, you would think that they would serve a large container of rice, but no, per bowl.

We have been coming here since they opened several months ago. My favorite is their Dim Sum. They serve it in the traditional way with steam carts and wagons strolling thru the seating area. They are not a huge banquet hall setup like some of the other traditionally Chinese restaurants in the region but what the lack in size they make up in quality. We also order take out from them a couple times a month. We came here for our traditional Christmas day dinner and they were very busy. The service was a bit slower than normal as a result of the holiday crowd, but the food was as good as always. We highly recommend this Restaurant.

They served good Chinese food. The problem that you will encounter is the language barrier. I will understand if this happens in China, where they cannot explain the prices and information of the goods they sell. They are doing business right in the country where English is the basic language of communication. You must bring a bucket full of patience to communicate effectively or good in hand language. But in general, place is clean, food is good - but you will never know how much calories are you consuming and amount you will be paying.

Food: 3 stars Ambience and service: 5 stars The food here is ok, there are definitely better dinner spots on Freeport for authentic Cantonese style cuisine, but their dim sum and grand opening specials (empress chicken) is worth coming back to. The decor and service however is the best that Sacramento has to offer. If youre looking for a beautiful sit down with excellent tentative service that is atypical of Chinese places, then this is your spot. Will come back again.

Wonderful family style restaurant! Arrived 4p for early diner to beat crowds and were seated immediately. Using a printed pre-order dim sum menu, ordering was super easy. Beef rice noodle wasnt available at the time, but the chefs accommodated and made a delicious shrimp rice noodle--quite good! A favorite is the porteguese egg white tart in puff pastry-light and tasty (think creme brûlée in a puff pastry, but not as custardy).

New Chinese Restaurant!!! ^^ Food prices are overall higher than other Chinese restaurants like Asian Pearl and Hong Kong Islander, and its a bit far away from stockton and greenheaven, thats why few people go there... But the environment and service there are super-duper nice lol. Recommended!!

We ate here on Saturday...It is the best Chinese food ever. Their food is fresh and yummy. I would recommend the steak and broccoli, sweet sour chicken and shrimp, spring rolls, rice and chicken wings. We will be going back... We appreciate the good customer service:-)

My favorite Chinese sit-down in the area. Great atmosphere, delicious dim sum served daily. BEST sum mei EVER. Love their regular dishes too: Mongolian beef, rainbow chicken, egg foo young, house fried rice. Reasonable prices too. Love Yu Huang!

Service sucks......waited 20 min to order......waited 45 min didnt get our food. Asked server whats going on he said it be out in 5 min waited another 10 min. Couldnt wait anymore so left the place. Never going back again

In a lobby overloaded with tables, there are only two dim-sum carts slowly moving around. You have to wait a long time to get something to eat. Service is hardly existent. Dishes from the menu are mediocre and expensive.

Wonderful authentic dim sum. We now have a go to place near instead of having to travel to San Francisco. Do watch the price on some "special" dishes though...we didnt realize one dish was $22 until the bill came.

They do not speak English very well. However, the excellent dimsum carts more than make up for it. Just be careful, you may choose a very expensive item and not even know it!
