I walked in one night after searching on Google maps for Mexican nearby to eat and I decided to try 524 Mexican Restraunt out. I got the 3 item combo plate with Chile relliano,beef enchilada and pork tamale.Let me tell you the CHILE RELLIANO was so incredible that night I drank all the juice out of the box. I wished I had gotten all three Chile Rellianos for my combo!!!The chips are perfect as well not all chips are good from Mexican restraunts but theres are delicious as well. And i loved how the rice kinda laid on top of the beans it was unlike any other Mexican food Ive had before. The restraunt itself was clean and the service was fast and friendly. Would recommend to friends and family. 5

If you are on Jury Duty over at the Courthouse, this is where you want to go for lunch. Very walkable (~8 minutes). The service is exceptional, the food is excellent, the quality is consistent, the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated, and the prices are reasonable. I was on a jury for over a month, and went at least twice a week. I ordered something different every time, and was never once disappointed. Service is a HUGE factor to me, and these folks are spot on. They are polite, sincere, prompt, and quite possibly psychic.

We were vastly disappointed in this restaurant. The food was a mixed bag. Some of us had ok food but some was really substandard. The service, however, was awful. We used a Groupon, which should alert the restaurant to the opportunity to gain new customers. However, we were not treated well. Then, the Groupon credit was not taken on our bill. When I pointed this out to the server and asked for an adjustment, I got attitude from her. We wont be back.

Horribly slow service . Ordered fajitas enough for four people and recieved one tortilla person. Tried to order more and was charged $ 1.75 extra for 2 more tortillas. Horrible presentation of food fajitas not sizzling like in most mexican restaurants.Vagrants hanging out in front of restaurant smoking marijuana. Mexican Restaurant with no made to order margaritas and no shredded cheese. Eat at your own risk!!!

Pretty traditional Mexican flair, but thats whats great. Combo plate was just as expected, and it even came with soup! Also on the menu are chilaquiles, huevos con chorizo, and pozole for those looking to fulfill some cravings. Food didnt blow me away, but it certainly hit the spot! Prices were very inexpensive as well.

This place has some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. Tacos, burrito, steak fajitas, even the free nachos were all top notch. The service is wonderful. The server came around constantly to check if we needed anything. Very friendly place. You cant go wrong.

I visited 524 after a long hiatus (I moved to Colorado and lived there for awhile). I returned to find a complete renovation. I missed the old place, but I couldnt help noticing the comfort and warmth of the place. And still, one of my favorite Mexican restaurants.

This place is now a vape lounge its no longer a restaurant. The vape lounge here is amazing they have a bar to test out flavors and very wonderful staff members that are very helpful and great prices on everything and they literally have EVERY vape need! :)

Food wasnt that good. I ordered the cheese enchiladas and my cheese was still cold on the inside. The sauce taste like gravy. The server was nice but he was the only one for the entire place during the lunch rush hour. I wouldnt be going back ever again.

Cozy and quaint. Came in on a Sunday night nice and quiet. Welcoming and charming. We came in on the Groupon deal if you havent tried this place you should its a great Lil find. Food was yummy. Left with happy faces and tummys. Definitely coming back.

My family and I have been customers since the restaurant first opened some 40 years ago. That fact alone should be a testimonial to the quality, freshness and care that goes into each dish. Highly recommended. (Obviously, lol)
