Religiously biased.Thats what i have to say in 1 word. I have visited this restaurant with my family multiple times.I agree that the food tastes really good but every time we placed an order for some reason every one would get their order delievered to the table within less than 15min and we would end up waiting for almost 45min.First couple of times i thought it was a geniune dealy because of the number of people. But then i started to notice that people especially belonging to their religion or caucasians would walk in much later than us, would have their order on the table before ours and we would have waited for almost 1hr. The recent trip was extremly ridiculous. They made us wait for 1hr.We saw some caucasians walking into the restaurant about the end of our 1 hr wait and then we went inside and they said..sorry your order is not yet ready..this is for a simple 3 dishes. And then even before ours came the caucasians who literally walked in 5 min back got their order on the table an order of 5 dishes. Ours was the last order of the day inspite of coming in much much early and to top it all they forgot to make 1 item we ordered so they had to start making it then. I questioned them and they said ...well we have just 1 cooking range and tandoor so it is taking so long and lot of people have placed order to go so it took so long etc etc.But i could clearly see that was not true. It is so hypocritical of these people to show this attitude in a country which has loved and welcomed people of different race religion. They obviously cannot show that attitude towards the caucasians but their true color has to come out for everyone else. True hypocrits....and to boost their business they call themselves :Pakistani Indian Restaurant" ......ridiculous...no wonder the world is in this state today

After a long day at lake Clementine, my sister and I were craving Pakistani food may it be authentic or passer-by, we were craving Pakistani food. We walked in and chose to sit close to the exit door. After a while we realized its self-service and food must be ordered at the counter, but where is the "welcome" or "hello" to acknowledge a customer? I had a feeling where this was going... After I ordered the food, my name/number was called and I HAD TO PICK-UP MY FOOD FROM THE COUNTER FROM WHICH I ORDERED AND SERVE MYSELF. This is the first Pakistani restaurant where I had to bring my own food to my table. To my surprise the same person who called my name was serving a different guest at another table?!!! Hmm? 1. The moment I walked-in, the staff did not say hello or good evening or any sort of greeting. 2. The food was not tasty, it was really sad the way the food was presented and tasted. 3. The service at the counter is horrible. If you need to go and fill your tummy with food because you just have to have a bite, please go here and hopefully you dont have a stomach ache from their under cooked food afterwards. Im never going back here again to shed my money on something thats not worth it. In the end, they just want money, sorry, I didnt come to a Pakistani restaurant realized its model is similar to that of a fast-food environment, shame really. Also, I did my part and gave a handsome tip. Word of advice to the Mr. Owner, please work on the service then I might come back around and give you a better review.

After visiting several run-of-the-mill Indian restaurants such as Ruchi, Curry Club in the Folsom-Roseville area, and some really bad restaurants such as India House, Taj etc and one particularly horrible restaurant called Star of India, it was a delight to eat here. Food: Food is great; authentic pakistani style (very similar to north Indian food) that earlier you could only get in bay area; they also serve goat meat everyday which is not very common and very welcome by someone such as me who prefers goat meat over lamb meat. Their naan is simply marvelous, the best I ever have had. Biryani is good, but nothing exceptional. Service: Strictly self-service, cheap furniture, and not very presentable dine-in area. May not be suitable for special ocassions such as office team lunches/dinners, or anniversary and stuff. Price: really low price compared to other Indian restaurants in the area. Dinner for 2 is about $20. Please note that they do not accept AmEx card, even though the owner has put that in the restaurant info on google. Bottom-line: Really great food, particularly for take out, on the cheap!

Recommendation: By a friend and co-worker. After eating at the restaurant, I discussed with my another co-worker whose a different ethnicity she told me that this wasnt the greatest Indian food restaurant as recommended by others. Food : Chicken Tikka Masala, Naan, Biryani. Food was horrible. I was better off eating food either at Mehfil or Shaz. It doesnt have taste and food was not the best in town as described by people. Ambiance: Tight parking spots but close to I-80 Freeway. It looks like a hole in a wall restaurant. Restaurant is very small and cant fit that many people. Service: You need to order the food first before sitting down. Also have to get your own utensils from the dirty bin. The utensils were dirty and looked like worn out. It seemed like they were pretty old. They were pretty fast in bringing out the food. We went on Saturday around noon and there was only one table occupied. People described this restaurant as full and lines outside. Hmmm... Future: I would not waste my money at this restaurant in future.

I am using Metro PCS and waiting for food. Smells great. Prices reasonable and probably ordered too much as unsure exactly what comes with a "meal". Thick accents for me were hard but my American probably just as bad for them. I smiled and talked slow and we were all cool. I didnt see the miniumn order for VISA was $20 and my meal was $17. Food came real fast. House Salad ($5.50) was large, fresh. light and tasty with lots of tomatoes and cucumbers. Chicken Haleem ($9?) was sneak up spicy, fresh and decent sized. Glad I had Naan ($1.50) with it as hard to finish off as heat kicks in. Their Ice Tea ($1.50) tastes home made and as fresh as meal. Its setup like fast food where you order so I can see why people forget to tip. Its also a self serve I think as I had to go get my drink as well as fork. The ambiance is cafeteria style and clean with basic tables and chairs. Nice authentic background music. Overall... delicious!

The food was an amazingly great experience. Im used to the standard, chain restaurant food, which is good, but bland compared to the savory dishes at Tandoori Nights. I sampled a few of the chicken, beef, and lamb offerings, and was very pleasantly surprised at how pleasing they all were, especially to my rather limited palate. The tea, sauces, and bread were also top notch. I showed up hungry and left very satisfied, which was even better than I had expected. And the prices are very reasonable. In fact, its kinda hard to justify spending the time at home cooking anything similar (even if I had the recipes), even if my time wasnt worth much. I highly recommend this food and restaurant. Its no more spicy than standard fare at a Mexican restaurant, but its far more satisfying and delectable. Thank you very much for an experience that I will always remember.
