This place is the real deal - it is the best north Indian food I have ever had in the United States. The buffet is wonderful, they dont have a bad dish and their tea is utterly authentic, with a depth and strength of flavour you cant get even in Britain. At 8.99 it is perhaps slightly above average price for the buffet, but the menu items are average or below average price. Even where the price isnt the cheapest, it is worth the extra dollar or two for the unadulterated quality - normally buffets of any kind are just of lower quality than youd get from a menu, but that is not the case here - the buffet is probably my favourite part, since I can get so many different kinds of food - and its just as good as when I get it to order. Oh yeah - this place does spicy like nowhere else Ive come across. Even if the menu doesnt say spicy, its probably spicy because thats just how this kind of food is made, and if it says spicy or cooked with spices, its extremely spicy. This is great for me, not so great if you dont like spice. That said, they certainly do have mild meals and you can easily ask for the food to be mild. I eat here about twice a week.

Ok so where should I start I was asking a few questions about their food like how is it made and stuff and the employee got angry like come on have some patience Im a customer if Im taking a few minutes to place my order then you should be fine with that but instead he got pissed and decided not to take my order at all I waited 25 mins to order and he kept ignoring me I left the place and he sent another employee after me who came running to my car and told me that he was just about to take my order I went back in to find that they will humiliate me for another 10 mins by making me wait Horrible customer service Bloody pakis

i love this unassuming place. the owner is just lovely, & i enjoy seeing him when i get there. i really like the food. the gosht palak is fantastic...lots of meat, so flavorful....ive no complaints about anything ive had there, or tasted from the plates of my companions. yes, its spice-y, but if you dont like spices, you ought not to eat indian or pakistani food. (try tandoori, you like no spices, but still....its beautiful spiced.) prices, by the way, are very reasonable. i havent been to many places in sacramento, to whom i would give 5 stars. but these people, & this food deserves a 4+1/2 or a 5...it does.

Well I gotta say the owner is a super nice. So for customer service I give him 5 stars. The food is 2 star at best. The achar ghost has limited amount of meat. The chicken was moist but was too spicy, and we told them we wanted it mild. After tasting that I was wondering what "hot" would be like. But overall the service is good. Prices are reasonable so I would recommend visiting him in Sacramento. Nice cozy place.

Coming back from Lake Tahoe we were very hungry and craving for some good food. We decided to have some Pakistani / Indian food. My friend suggested that Kabab N Chutney is new restaurant open in Sacramento so went there for lunch and they had buffet it was excellent. Food was fresh and good variety. I will recommend if you are in Sacramento you must try them.

Worst customer service... The names called kabab chutney and they dont even give it to you for to take away ...and if you have 200 buck order theyll give you a small chutney container. .. Food horrible and waayyyy over priced.... I payed like 8 doller for a single chicken chapli kabba. And it was yuck.. The meanest people.. ..just horrible customer service

The owner is a really nice guy. Took extra care in preparing the food when I told him I was from our of town. The food was delicious. I usually am hesitant in eating chicken kebabs...but they were amazing. Only thing is I kept wishing there was raita with the Biryani. The green chutney didnt cut it.

Me and my friend find this place through map finaly we went their time was almost 10.20 pm but they wellsome us and food was ausome was fresh and very delicious I personly recommend and found this place as one of the best pakistani and India food . I rate this restaurant as 4 star.

Whenever I get a craving for some curry this is the place to go. The restaurant is quite sanitary and the food is of excellent quality. The service is nice and the staff on my perspective are very humble. P.S. I am a frequent customer at this restaurant and hold no bias.

I was very disappointed, they were not very hospitable, the waiter didnt explain anything about the food or anyone in the place didnt interact with any customers , it was not a friendly type in environment. I wouldnt recommend!

Best Indian Food Ive had in US. Place is humble, come here for good food. Garlic Nan is amazing, always order Chicken Tika Masala, the kabobs are freshlymade and brought out on a bed of grilled onions. Amazing food.

Customer service is bad we ordered the chapli kabab they brought it without any bread they said you have to buy the bread separately. ..this is not how the chapli kabab is served anywhere else ....rip off
