Pushy counterperson demanding order. This is the first visit to this location, second visit to a smash burger in 7 months so Im not at all familiar with the menu. I grabbed a menu at the door per instructions on the wall. There was no line so I wanted a minute to stand and read the menu over, check out combos, descriptions and sizes etc. The gal behind the counter with the poor attitude asked my order 6 times in under 2 minutes. RUDE. I asked what the difference was between sweet potato fries and the smashed sweet potato fries, which seemed to annoy her, from rolling her eyes and deepening frown. She finally answered Smashed is the signature fries, its their trademark, its what they are know for. Well, thats completely not telling me whats so special about it but hell, I ordered it with a sure, sounds damned tasty since its a trademark. Thick Sweet potato fries, FRIED to a crispy outside tender inside then soaked in oil and sprinkled with what is suppose to be garlic and green specks. Disgusting. Im sure at concept it was done right and delicious but this oil slick in a funny cut soda cup with white and green specks was not at all edible. The smash burger I ordered without onions, only mayo was soaked with a yellow bitter liquid to the point of the bun was not able to soak it anymore so it fell apart and the wrapper leaked out into the bag and through the bag onto my seat. Thanks! Without the wet mush bun and after ditching the red onions I didnt want, I found the stingy paper thin tomatoes and pickles made the burger edible. I was up charged for the change to cheddar cheese but it wasnt on the burger, unless it was part of the liquified bun. My husband ate the Baja burger and the shoestring fries. He said it was as described but beyond sloppy. He wasnt sure why the mayo mustard smear was all over the bun and inner wrapper since this burger has only the guacamole listed. Without the mayo mustard stuff this would have been a good burger. The fries were crispy and not over salted. Best part of our to go order was the finding the very clean, fresh lemon wedges to squeeze and add into the Minutemaid fountain lemonade. Had I not been rushed at the counter, being the only customer waiting to order, I would have purchased more (regrettably Im sure) including milkshakes instead of fountain drinks. 2 regular sized bugers, 2 fries and 2 large fountain drinks $25 plus. NOT WORTH IT.

Sadly, service has gone down tremendously for this SmashBurger. My co-workers come here often for great food, friendly staff and clean dining, not to mention a free drink for medical staff on Mondays (called "Medical Mondays"). So 3/9/2015 @ 11:10 am: My co-worker and I walked in. We were greeted by a stern-faced employee (looked like a supervisor). We each ordered our usual order, but she didnt know of any promos like Medical Mondays since (a) she was new to this job and (b) this is a whole new crew working at this site. She went on to tell that the site "had issues with the old crew". When it was my turn to order, this was the conversation: Me: "Yeah, the change is quite sudden. We were just here last Monday." Supervisor:"Well, you guys are the first ones to tell me about this (Medical Monday), and Ive been here for 2 weeks now." (Me (to myself): (So wait, you calling me a liar?)) Granted that she agreed to give us free drinks, the way she expressed and communicated to us was totally NOT appropriate to a restaurant customer, all the more regular patrons of this establishment for 2 years now. She was stern looking, with a firm voice, not anywhere near pleasant or accommodating - all what you would picture how a strict librarian would look like and act like. I did NOT go the library - I thought I went to SmashBurger. To the District Manager: If you have to hire new people - especially middle managers - please hire the ones that have a pleasing personality befitting the restaurant business. (Hopefully, they can provide additional training for these folks). Will wait and see if management listens. I hate to see a good restaurant being overcast by 1 grumpy individual.

Finally tried this place and I am extremely unhappy after out visit. Myself and 2 kids went here for lunch today. Sure its busy, as anticipated it was during lunch time. This place is on the small side so not much place to sit if you have more than 2 in your party and its busy. We waited about 25 minutes to get our "fast food". Keep in mind this is not a restaurant like Red Robin or Yard House, this is literally like a fast food environment (minus the pricing!!) $30 later for 3 lunches, OUCH! Anyway...the order comes and 2 out of the 3 orders are incorrect. 1 had to go back since the entire thing was wrong. When the correct order came out the burger was black, like char black dry as you can imagine. I ordered the egg bun and received a chipotle bun. I had to go back up to get my sons drink that came with his kids meal that they didnt bring. The smashfries were delicious, but for $3.30 for a large...um they were a size SMALL. I would have loved to clean my table so others could sit due to the lack of seating, but the trash was literally overflowing and red plastic cups covered the top of it with no where else to place the empty baskets of food. I definitely dont think we will be back. Id rather go to In-N-Out burger where the food is consistently good, staff is friendly and smiling, and the environment is large enough for us all to fit and eat as a family.

Every time I come here I love it. The staff has changed somewhat over the months/years, but there are a few familiar faces. I think ive seen one of two of the senior staff there every time ive been. The Quality of the burgers is awesome, and Theyve never gotten one of my weird burger combos wrong. A few times Ive told them id be making a call outside or watching a video outside and id be back in a few minutes to get my food, and they have actually brought it out to me each time. This smashburger goes above and beyond my expectations of a fast food resturant, with the level of service and quality of the food. My only gripe about smashburger is not related to this exact store, but in that the fries are a bit skinny, and I wish you could order bigger fries. that being said, they still taste great. I love eating here. Hope this helps.

The food is good if they get your order right (which is extremely rare) but the service is consistently terrible. We keep coming back because we like the food but every single time we come here, we have horrible service. They are rude and not very efficient at all. Today, we waited in line for over 20 minutes because the only register open at lunch time had to stop to make multiple milkshakes. Not only should they have more than one register open when they are busy, they should also have someone else that makes the milkshakes so the line can keep moving.

Lots of variety in burger/chicken sandwich types. I had the Spicy Jalapeño Baha Chicken Sandwich along with the spicy fries and it was all delicious. Okay beer selection, wish they had beer on tap as opposed to just in bottles; frosted mugs for the beer was a nice touch, though. Prices were kinda high for a burger place, but portions were good and food arrived quickly after ordering. A great option if you want something a step or two above your standard fast food burger.
