Pulled in just off the freeway looking to get a bite to eat with Wifey when I spotted this restaurant. I jumped on yelp to see reviews and look at the food pics. While I was flipping the pics I saw a gorgeous pic of eggs benedict. So wifey and I decided to give them a try. When we walked in I was in total shock. It looked like a B&B. So beautiful, after a 2.5 hour drive with idiots all over the road, I felt my blood pressure drop 30 points just walking inside.5.99 stars! We ordered Eggs Benedict, Side of Bacon, coffee and crepes. The the service was excellent. 3 different people stopped at our table about 6 times, no joke! 5 stars! Lets face it people there is only 4 real components to Eggs Benedict. Yet I have only had it one time that it was done right. You got to know how to make a proper hollandaise sauce, none of that canned crap, quality ham and eggs with a yolk that stays runny. Let me tell you this was a grand slam out of da park!! The absolute best Benedict I have ever had, hands down. Creamy runny eggs yokes, QUALITY HAM, hollandaise sauce to die for on a perfectly cooked English muffin. The Benedict is so good Im contemplating driving 3 hours just to have them again. The owners are super sweet people who care about customers and service. They use real butter in there recipes and make alot of the food from scratch. They are total foodies who put there whole hart and soul into not only there food but the the business and customer service also. Food quality 5 stars Food prep 5 stars Food price 5 stars Restaurant ambience 5 stars Owner, super people 5 stars NUF SAID!

We live in Citrus Heights and always enjoy having breakfast at Rosies. After seeing the segment on channel 31 (twice)on the window box cafe, we decided to try it out.hubby and I went on a Friday morning arriving at 7:30. MacKenzie the owners daughter was such a delight. We totally enjoyed their great coffee (only .99 cents.) My hubby ordered the 1/2 order of their corned beef, eggs, fried potatoes with toast special, and I ordered the 1/2 order of chicken fried steak, eggs over med, hash browns, and 2 little wonderful pancakes. Unfortunately, I found the gravy very bland, and floury, and The egg whites were runny. We will most likely return to try something else. The decor is so cheerful as was MacKenzie

Its Monday morning and I want the weekday breakfast special. Tried the Window Box for the first time and it was good. Asked the waitress - only one there for the whole place - for the breakfast specials. She was out of menus but said I could order one. Saw online the ham and eggs - still available. Got coffee from THE busboy. The food was good. Obviously smaller than a full order but still good portions of potatoes and half a ham steak. Charged $6.99 for this - was $5.00 on the old menu posted elsewhere.

Stopped in town to visit family, whom wanted to go to this cafe. It had a good feeling upon walking in, wasnt noisy or loud...got seated right away...staff were friendly and very helpful, not forceful with the coffee refills but they didnt forget about us...menus were put together and prices were reasonable...when the food arrived, it was fantastic...good portions and we werent disappointed...out of the cafes i have visited in Rocklin id say this takes the top spot...i would totally recommend this restaurant...

Had the chicken sandwich chicken had weird seasoning maybe Italian seasoning too much couldnt finish it. French fries should say seasoned fries I wouldve told them to leave it off. Waitress disappeared several times service slow dirty plates just sat in front of us as the bus boy would just walk by and smile. Well the onion rings were good but I think those are frozen which is fine. GF pigs in a blanket were good great sausage. Probably wont come back.

My friends and I have been coming here for months, and we have never had an experience that was less than satisfying. Julie is our personal favorite server here, but we have been served by others as well and they are truly amazing as well. Their cinnamon rolls are really good! Usually for lunch Ill either grab the chicken fajitas or the soup and salad. Great restaurant, if you havent been you need to go now!!!

Friendly and professional servers. Very very clean. Good food. Prices similar to other coffee shops. Location is a couple of blocks away from the main road so you can usually get in here, when better known places have a wait. Recommended!

The food was very ordinary. Average breakfast plates with average prices. My home fries were under cooked and a bit hard. I asked for extra onions, but there were just a few with a ton of green peppers, which I like but hadnt asked for.

This was our second trip in there I ordered the senior lasagna lunch it was great. The half loaf of bread that came with it was totally unexpected, it was freshly baked and delicous.

This is what I call an "OWG" restaurant. They serve the kind of food that old white guys like. Thats not a criticism. The food was good.
