Im really upset we went to ihop to have a nice breakfast and end up being a really bad experience, Jason was our waiter but he just took our order and left after a long time of waiting my children finally got their food but we never did, after 30 minutes and nothing.. I have a 2 yr and I always share my plate with him, after a long time of not getting our food Im upset and my baby is criyng because hes hungry... . Im really upset everytime we get Jason is always something hes impolite, rude,and doesnt care .. Im also upset because the ihop personal doesnt care if we go out of there happy or not. Today we end up paying for our children food but I think we shouldve based of the bad service that we receive... I will not go to ihop at hilltop in Richmond Ca anymore.... Please think twice before going there..

My mother-in-law wanted to go there yesterday for breakfast/ lunch so I took her. I hadnt eaten there for several years. The waiter was indifferent, the food was cold and fairly tasteless. The omelette with 3 pancakes (she substituted a bowl of soggy fruit salad) was $11 each! The bill came to $29 for two with tip! For that price it should be a really good meal and experience! The syrups used to be thick and look like they really were made from the various berries. They are now watery and tasteless. Pancakes were dry and lifeless and so was the omelette. There was nothing else on the plate. All together a bad experience! I recommend that you all avoid this place! Garrison

The way they handle patrons when they come in, not very friendly, as they greet you it feels forced from them. And at times you just be standing there for minutes before they even realize youre there. Lot of employees lack basic interaction with people and general manners! Ive come here a handful of times to try & give the benefit of the doubt....but they always have the same attitude. And the people that come there are especially ghetto! Yes I said it and stand by it! Dont matter the color, its the attitude of individuals that come in that makes the place not so pleasant to be around. Havent been back in months now.

I hope corporate starts paying attention to the reviews about this location. The staff is real hit or miss. Some days Ive had a great experience eating here. Other times I walk out shaking my head at the staffs lack of concern for anyone trying to be seated. I feel like they should fire half of the staff and employ people who are capable of completing basic tasks. Our server today was incompetent and lazy. The food was cold by the time it made it to the table. It also took for ever so that tells me she didnt care. I hope they clean house soon. Place still sucks.

My family, and more than 5 other parties were made to wait as a single server tried to serve half of the restaurant. When I confronted, the manager informed me that instead of going out and helping, he would send the woman over immediately! There were only 2 servers in the whole restaurant and the manager only did something when scolded. People ended up leaving because they had waited more than 20 minutes andstill had not been served. Other managers are better, but this guy hid in the back and did nothing.

I have been to this location before but this time it was different. They have improved tremendously on their customers service. Waiters are fast and efficient. My son was admiring how fast they cleaned the tables he said "in 2.5 seconds". It wasnt that fast but you get the drift. Expect to get good fast service even on a busy morning.

Me and My husband came here and the food was not really good the eggs and hash browns came right out the instant box. Long wait for food, waitress doing to much talking. I almost choked on the Orange juice because its to much pulp! It felt like grass coming up out the straw, and I almost needed cpr from choking. Have a bless day ihop.

Just ate there. Female waitress needs to stop being a cheerleader in back. Stop Loud pancake cheers. Cook needs to know what over med. eggs are and How to get sides out with rest of order. I love IHop but will not ever eat here again. You guys wouldnt last in Las Vegas. Customers would eat you up. Very disappointed......

I was surprised how busy they were for a Monday morning, but with good reason. Seems they are short staffed. My poor server was zipping around like a chicken with her head cut off, but she did a phenomenal job of making sure I was pleased. The place was clean and my food was deliciously created sooner than I expected.

This ihop has a 50/50 chance of you having good service.I go there at least twice a month cause I love their pancakes and french toast, but I now I just do take out.I can say however that everytime that Ive complained about my food the manager took care of it...so my feelings are about average for this location.

You know the really nice thing about this is that theyre actually open late and not only that the bathrooms are usually pretty nice too and you dont like I said the staff is actually pretty cool as well I ordered to go so I dont know what the dining experience is like

Great place for super late night meals. My friends and I would always come here when one of the waiters was here. He always provided excellent service, and our food always came out well and delicious (probably because we were too hungry to notice or something).

This is a great place for eating breakfast and is comfortable and pleasant to set inside the restaurant the general manager is very kind and attentive it is only busy during The Weeknd where you have a wait. But it is worth the wait

Excellent service. Great new dishes. Pancakes excellent as always. Service had great attention to detail - constantly kept coming back to my table to ask if I was ok or needed anything. Thoroughly enjoyed my food as a result.

THEY OVER CHARGED MY FRIEND BY ADDING AND EXTRA DIGIT TO HIS BILL, SO INSTEAD OF PAYIN 20.81 HE PAID 208.10 AND I PAID 39.99 TWICE. THESE PEOPLE ARE VERY IRRESPONISIBLE, AND APPEAR TO BE HIGH WHILE THEY ARE WORKING.

Waitress was great, a shame she had to work the entire restaurant herself. Very disappointed that they werent able to make the sandwich I wanted cause they were out of meat (Philly Cheese Steak).
