This restaurant offers gluten free bread on all their sandwiches. You can also get any sandwich on their menu turned into a salad. They have quite a few sandwich combinations ranging from vegetarian to marinated chicken to meatball and everything in between. You have your choice of sliced bread or rolls and several kinds of cheeses and sauces. The sandwiches are huge and you could easily share with someone and still leave satisfied. I was here on a Friday night and it was fairly crowded....seems to be quite a popular place to hangout with friends. There was a little bit of a wait due to the popularity but it was expected. My sandwich was pretty good and Im anxious to try some of the others.

There are a lot of reasons to love Redwood Citys Sandwich Spot. What keeps me coming here is the 40 Year Old Virgin. A turkey club with a large stack of bacon, crispy French onions, and a tasty sauce. I have had other sandwiches but this is the one I invariably order. But, they have other awesome sandwiches. If one of their house specials dont whet your appetite, you can always order your Sandwich the way you want it. Aside from their sandwiches, they serve a great selection of beer. They have my favorite Tripel. In the evening, they have hookahs available in the outdoor seating area. Beer, sandwiches, hookah, parking, great staff. Definitely make a stop.

Very casual location situated in downtown Redwood City offering a wide selection of made-to-order sandwiches in some unusual combinations. I ordered a "Hangover" when I was here which is a combination of turkey, avocado, cream cheese, and a variety of special sauces -- it was delicious. Prices are very reasonable especially given that the sandwiches are quite sizable. The restaurant sports a nice patio area, perfect of relaxing on a sunny day. Indoors, theres a small array of TVs so you can catch the news or a sporting event while you ingest / digest a very solid meal. Definitely a recommended stop for everyone.

If I could give more stars I would. This place has a huge customer base of regulars because the staff know how to treat their customers like family. They are kind, outgoing, and professional in their service; always making the extra effort to make their customers feel welcome and doing what they know is best for the most number of people. Their food is delicious and never short of what you want. The guys who prepare the hookah put great care into their preporation. The atmosphere is nice and laid back, a perfect place to unwind, chill, and enjoy yourself and the company of others.

My favorite go-to spot for lunch. I always get the Burn In Heaven which takes a bit more time (10 extra minutes), but its amazing. Beer here is great (though tap is a small selection) and you have the option to get a hookah at night. Ill be honest: Ive never had a sandwich here that I havent liked. And Ive ordered more than at least 8-10 different sandwiches, so thats awesome.

This place is great! Tasty and unique sandwiches with a huge menu! This is definitely one of my favorite sandwich shops around. Staff are helpful and the place is clean. Theres not much indoor seating and outdoors turns to a hookah lounge at night, so perhaps not great for larger groups. Regardless, I love their sandwiches and wish I could make it over here more often!

Came here randomly on a weekend! Amazing! Hookah and pretty people and amazing Amr Diab tunes!!!!!! I used to go to a place like this in the east coast but unfortunately there are just not enough places here in the west with authentic party style arabic tunes!! I think this was a special night but it was fun and they really tried to take care of us!

The Sandwich Spot is one of my favorite places for lunch in Redwood City. The staff is very friendly and they were also able to cater our corporate luncheon. The sandwiches are very good! My favorite is #10, the Farmers Market sandwich. The avocado spread they use is scooped right out of a fresh avocado, and all their food seems very fresh!

Solid sandwiches, nice patio, good location. I believe this place is under new management and they were super enthusiastic and helpful compared to some of my previous experiences here. Station 9 is my personal favorite but how could you go wrong with hot salami?! Also that theyre open late in the otherwise dead RWC is a big plus.

Best location our of all the franchises in the bay area. Great sandwiches, great service, and great atmosphere. The owner is cool. Always walking around greeting guests and and casual conversations. He demands perfection from his workers, I believe thats why all the sandwiches are always so good and made just right.

Got home and opened my sandwich to find out that they didnt put anything on it but meat and bread. I dont pay 8$ for a sandwich to have to add to it at home. Thats the second disappointment from this place. Rwc sandwich spot you suck. Dont bother with this place

Relaxed atmosphere. Foods awesome!!! We came here after a day at the port, hungry and wanting quick food. Met the owner, nice guy, names Dave. Hubbys plans to spend game nights here, watching the game with friends. Just a nice place. Glad we found it.

Great, cantgowrong, sandwich! Lots of different rolls and sliced bread. Tons of meat and cheese options. The best part is the outdoor hookah this establishment uniquely provides. Have always had a great and friendly experience at this Sandwich Spot.

This place is like an independent version of Ikes. It has a lot of big, creative sandwiches that will have you wanting to order another. There is decent WiFi and a very large patio area that is great for large groups or getting out of the office.

A huge variety of sandwiches to choose from. I have enjoyed many. I havent had a chance to partake because I am usually on the clock, but they also have a nice selection of craft beers. Note: parking is kind of difficult in downtown RWC.

Me and two friends were cycling through town and decided to stop here. We all got different subs and we all thought ours was delicious -- might have been because we were starving, who knows, but I definitely want to stop by here again

The best sandwiches in the downtown Redwood City area! My only warning is that the kitchen closes before the shop closes, and while the hours say theyre open late, you might not be able to get a sandwich even if theyre still "open".

Better than Ikes with more reasonable hours. Didnt realize until I stopped in after a movie that this place is also a hopping hookah lounge. I didnt partake because Im too old for all that now, but the aroma was surprising pleasant.

Awesome place for a sandwich, a beer and to just kick back and relax with friends. The employees are all really friendly and fun to talk to. The owner is a character on his own right but amazing guy. Definitely a must go!

The BEST sandwiches I found about this place a few months ago and now find any reason to go here whenever I am close. The guys that work here keep the environment fun and this place ges busy but definitely worth the wait
