I took my family here for the first (and last) time Sunday night after a movie. We had a free childs meal coupon and thought it might be worth a try. There was a lot of people there so that must be a good sign right? Wrong. We were greeted,wait-thats the wrong word, we were ushered to a booth by an unsmiling, less than cheerful, unhappy greeter who looked as if shed just as soon eat us as seat us. Yay! Off to a good start. I was still optimistic because the place looks good, its new, the architecture is warm and inviting, there is a nice patio to eat on complete with cozy fire pit and the menu online promised a fresh and delicious repast! With all that said, this place was a complete disappointment. Our first waitress brought us drinks right away and then disappeared for 15 minutes. (BTW-The Honey Blonde beer was good.) At this point I started timing everything for no other reason than my own entertainment during "the wait". We waited and waited and waited. I had asked about the childrens fruit-loop-licorice dog-collar making fun (As I was directed to on the kids menu and website) and was told three times that they would bring it right out, it never came, (like good service). After this we were abandoned, no refilled drinks, no food, no fruit-loop dog collars for the kiddies :( Then we had a new waitress! The old waitress introduced her and eventually my sons food came out, he ate, ten minutes went by and finally our food came. I ordered the veggie lavosh sandwich, which was okay and not a bit above"okay". My husband ordered the Ahi tuna wasabi burger which he barely choked down. It was canned tuna? made into a patty, fried and topped with wasabi sauce. He said there was nothing to bring any of the flavors together and it was just terrible, the tuna was sour, the wasabi sour, the burger sucked. My husband later said he cannot emphasize HOW BAD it was, but he didnt want to wait another hour to return it and get something else. It was overpriced bar food at best. We needed some ketchup and couldnt get any, I asked another waitress who handed it to me with a face of disgust and turned away as if too busy to confront a customer, :D Ok, busy night or not, a customer is a customer. I couldnt believe the service. The waitress didnt come back till we were done and ready for the check, it took over 15 minutes to refill my water, (I know because i was still playing the time-game) The table of 8 behind us called for the manager because they had a problem with their order, they all looked unhappy! :D I knew it wasnt just us. It became funny after a while. We were all sharing one drink waiting for a refill that never came. The check came after another long wait, we walked out a little after 9 and had arrived at 7. What a shame, not sure if it was the night or they were understaffed, but the food we ordered still sucked and the waitress staff was indifferent and unfriendly, and sorry for all the other Lazy Dogs out there that are good, but it is what it is. Never will I set foot in there again.

If you havent been to a Lazy Dog, it may surprise you that they allow dogs in the outdoor dining area. I have never seen a problem with that but something to be aware of. The food is usually good, they have a nice selection to meet most any palette. Its not gourmet, but its usually pretty tasty. The service at this particular one, was great! We were seated quickly on a Sunday night. All in all a very solid experience. Would give 5 stars but the food is good, but could be a lil better.

This is my second time visiting The Dog. The idea of inviting "Mans Best Friend" to dine with us is novel and as an animal lover it really appeals to me and i love the wood and steel architecture. I choose restaurants for design and decor as well as the food. Everything I have tried was delicious and the portions are very generous. Tonight we had Kristen for our server and she was exceptional. Quick and attentive with a great sense of humor. Rich and I will definitely return.

There is a wide variety of food choices here and the staff here is always very friendly. We have never had to wait very long. On warm days its nice to sit in their patio area, especially if the inside is busier. The waitress has even offered us deals we werent aware of such as promotions online we could access with our phone while we waited. I think the food could improve slightly as it is good but not my favorite. We will definitely return.

Very good selection. I never saw so many people working at a restaurant before. It helps when it comes to fast service. Food prices are reasonable but drinks are a little high. not a great happy hour. I liked the general feel of the place, fun and friendly. Good music and my 20 mo. old does well there. She also likes the food. Would have gave it 5 stars if it wasnt for the happy hour and drink prices. Still rec-amend for family.

GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, OUR WAITRESS WAS FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS! ATMOSPHERE WAS EXCELLENT. SOME MAY FIND IT A LITTLE LOUD. BUT DECORATIONS AND INTERIOR DESIGN WAS GREAT. WE HAD A WAITRESS WHOS NAME WAS KRISSY. SHE REMEMBERED EVERYONES ORDER EXACTLY WITHOUT WRITING ANYTHING DOWN. I EVEN TOLD THE MANAGER HOW GREAT EVERYTHING WAS INCLUDING THE SERVICE. IM FROM TEXAS AND MY COWORKER FROM LOUISIANA. I WILL BE BACK AGAIN.

This was our first visit and we only stopped by because of the Fund Raiser for the Animal Care and Adoption Center in Rancho Cucamonga 15% of total bill donated. I saw it on facebook so glad we tried it our. I just have to say the food was amazing. We will be back. unfortunately our server never gave her name but, she was pretty good she kept the Passion ice tea refilled and got our food to us hot. We plan on returning.

Received a small gift from one of the managers because it was my first visit. Nice welcome gesture. Absolutely loved the place! Excellent protein style burger cooked unsalted as requested, classic yet trendy atmosphere, lots of people there but still plenty of room. Were from Coachella Valley, about an hour drive, but well be back. Its worthy to be considered a destination. Have a dog? Bring it on the patio.

The patio is dog friendly and there is open seating available. Water is complimentary for your dog, they offer brown rice with your choice of grilled chicken or a hamburger patty on their doggy menu. The menu itself is extensive offering fusion cuisine that includes Asian, Latin, flat breads, pastas and American. Staff is friendly and attentive. It is popular for dinner Thursday thru Sunday.
