My second review of the Klatch, the first was nearly a year ago. I Had to get this review off today after two days sipping my own fresh ground Esmeralda Leon Panama Geisha from this years harvest and roasting, check the score: 96 points, well earned. My current experience is as I remember my first cup of this Medium light roast Geisha from Hacienda Esmeralda farm. It provides the flavor, aroma and aftertaste of coffee that every other cup of coffee should live up to. Its THE coffee, full flavored and yet mild, no bitterness, no bite, enjoyable in every respect. My first taste was so amazing (and it still is today) it reminded me of a 25th anniversary uncorking of a Mondavi/Rothchild Opus One Cabernet at $200 a bottle at the Stagecoach Inn a few years ago. Every nuance of flavors in that cup, the aroma, the aftertaste that lasted a minute, was luscious, a symphony of flavors, and all good. This coffee is that good. Its for celebrations and best friends. All the other coffees at the Klatch score high, most in the 90s whenever theres a cupping for Coffee Review. Theyre all enjoyable. Never any under-ripe beans picked too early (sour) roasted too long (bitter) like you find every day at the pervasive chain that starts with "S", that makes extra cash because mixtures that include unripe beans are cheaper, and scorched beans are undrinkable unless $lathered with price-hiking mocha-sugar-half-and-half-caramel-hazelnut etc additives. The Klatch has flavors too, but since they start with honestly the best stand alone coffees, additions you like just make every cup that much better. So there. I dare you to try the Esmeralda Leon Panama Geisha Auction Lot/96 Points before its gone until the next harvest season.

Coffee Klatch has the best coffee/espresso in the area hands-down. Many small coffee shops in the surrounding areas use Klatch beans, and for good reason- Their beans are sourced well and locally roasted. Even with their excellent source material, I could not hope to brew a cup of coffee or espresso as well as the baristas at their Rancho Cucamonga location. They have developed a science behind their method of brewing, and the results are fabulous. Their seasonal offerings are inventive and well worth the premium, and their Patio Special, the frappucinno-killer, puts every other blended drink Ive had to shame. Get a large and share it- Do not drink the entire thing. That said, the coffeeshop itself sits within the historic winery in Rancho Cucamonga. The interior is pleasant, they play very non-abrasive and pleasant music, and once or twice a week they host Open Mic, which I recommend if you would like a taste of the local talent. Ive been to Augies, Back To The Grind, as well as Queen Bean. While each gormet coffee shop offers its own offerings and aesthetic, Coffee Klatch delivers just a notch above all else, and I am very happy to reside within walking distance of this location.

VERY similar experience to the post below. Moved to Rancho about a year ago from La Verne. Having been to the coffee klatch maybe 4 times, I have tried their columbian each of the 4 times, which is labeled as a medium roast. My first experience was wonderful. The second time was very different! This time the coffee was much more acidic, almost unpleasant. After not going again for around six months, decided to give em onother try. My last two experiences were like thatof the post below, burnt and overly roasted. Sorry klatch....if you cant be consistant, with the prices you charge, u wont be getting my business.

Coffee is a bit pricey as far as coffee goes but you cant get a better cup in town. Theyre really helpful and knowledgeable about the coffe they sell as well I had gotten help from a gentlemen but I cant remember his name about getting a cold brew set up for home. Gave me all the knowledge I needed to get everything going as well as some coffee recommendations kudos to you sir; rest of the staff is equally knowledgeable and friendly. If you like black coffee give this place a try

People behind the Klatch demonstrate a knowledge and expertise of varietals, quality, and roasting that produce the finest coffees I have ever tasted. One strikingly unusual roast provided flavors an aftertastes so excellent I can only describe it as analogous to a once in a lifetime 25th anniversary celebration uncorking of a Mondavi Rothchild Opus one at $200 a bottle. Other merchants products dont compare, only contrast as lesser.

Good coffee; terrible service! You may come in contact with "1" nice and courteous person but everyone else is rude, hates their job, and doesnt want to be there. Ive stopped coming here after I was left standing by myself at the register after paying. I was waiting on my receipt and woman walked away without closing conversation and after I said yes Id like my receipt. I will take my business somewhere else.

First time visiting the Riverside-San Bernadino area and wanted to try a local coffee shop. This location was right by our hotel and I am sooo glad . It was a little hard to spot and it was a little crowded at the moment with the brunch flow coming in. However, the service was great and fast. And my coffee was perfect. I loved it. Would definitely come back if in the area.

I dont have enough good things to say about this place. The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable; the coffee, the pastries, and the savory food items are always delicious; the location is perfect, and the layout is very convenient and comfortable; last but not least the seating and environment is really cozy and varied.

First time here. I had the best Latte made with soy ever. Soy can be tricky and not taste that great but my tastebuds were happy!! I enjoyed the comfortable and cozy environment with cozy chairs. I will be back! The people that work here are the friendliest group I have encountered in a long time. Outstanding customer service.

As the staff talked to their friends and the "boss lady" snapped at someone, I waited and waited at the cash register to order. I felt completely invisible. Was it because I was not a young person. From my visits here, I feel they do not welcome seniors so it is best for seniors to take their business elsewhere.

Not my type of place. Locals love it but...well, welcome to Rancho. Very artisan, and very aware of how Cool they must be. Each time Ive been here I left feeling like they did me a favor by giving me a $4 coffee. Each time I planned to sit outside, each time I left immediately because its so...not my type of place.

I come here about once a month for coffee pickup. Their staff is courteous and quick to turn around drinks. Coffee is good and dark roast is just right. The tables are damn busy most weekday mornings, which is good for them however I find the place too crowded to focus on drawing so I usually take it to go.

I LOVE this place! The staff is always super friendly and the coffee/tea/food/everything is amazing here! They also have an open mic night here on thursdays - one of the few places in the area that does this! They also have good outdoor seating. Very hip place that almost doesnt fit the area, in a good way!
