Good food served fast and served well. Today was my first visit and I timed it to be after the lunch rush. My waitress, Lupe, quickly brought me chip and salsa and ice tea and took my order for three shredded beef floutas on a lunch plate with double beans and no rice. I ordered a large guacamole which was made for me while I was waiting. Their tortillas are made in the store and their chips are made from their tortillas. Theyre very crunchy and go well with their salsa which has no chunks of tomato or onion but is very tasty and a bit spicy. The service was excellent I was eating in less than 10 minutes from my arrival. And my waitress packaged up my tea to go after refilling it twice during lunch. The price for all of it was $15.99 which was a bit more than Im used to paying at $9.99 for the same thing but the guacamole was exceptional and so was Lupe. I was told that taco Tuesday is a really great deal. I will have to come back to see! They are open every day from 7 AM to 9 PM. Those are long hours but Im sure that their customers appreciate it.

El Cantarito is my favorite restaurant in the world. The service is above & beyond. Their ability to accommodate is unsurpassed and their food is amazing. Taco Tuesdays ~ super busy so go in the afternoon ;) Their food servers are always calm and caring. I believe they have a gift in making every client feeling special. In addition to all this ~ they cater! Personally, I have experienced weddings, memorial services, graduation parties. Every single event has received nothing but high praise from every age group & denomination. I love chile rellenos, but who wants to beat egg whites, roast chiles, etc., etc., etc., Must try them! home made sauce, always fresh. Prices so great, one can invite the neighborhood!

I have been eating Mexican food for over 50 years in Southern California and this is by far the best, authentic, Mexican food I have ever had. Not a fancy place, not huge, but good food. This is a family owned and operated business, I know the owner and his sons by name. I have had events catered by them and you cant beat the quality of the food and the price. The chile relleno is my favorite, the beef enchiladas are killer, and the fajitas come to your table hot and ready for you build at your table. If you have to wait to be seated or wait a bit for your food to be served....it is well worth the wait.

Placentia has plenty of great Mexican restaurants and for some reason wed never stopped here. Were glad we did and weve returned several times since. First the staff is great here. Theyre friendly, happy, professional, and are on top of everything. You just feel welcome here. And the food is great. The tacos are perfect but their specialty recipes set them alert from the crowd. After establishing a taco baseline on our first visit Ive ordered a different plate every time. Try anything you think you might like, its all good!

If your looking for a real home made mexican dish El Cantarito is the spot to go to! They start you off with some amazing warm corn tortilla chips with one of the best dipping salsas i have ever tried. They had ice cold beverages ranging from Horchata to Beer. My favorite dish is Camarones a la Diabla. It contains plump shrimp smothered in a spicy red sauce with a side of rice, beans and a choice of hand made corn or flour tortillas. This place is amazing! See for yourself.

This is my favorite local Mexican restaurant! My family and I have been coming to this family-owned restaurant for years. They make the most delicious chile relleno and their fresh chips & salsa is so addicting. Lots of seafood options. Not only is their food amazing, but their service is always top-notch too! Shout out to Black Mamba, hes an excellent waiter. You can always find parking out front on the street.

Great enchiladas. Their shrimp cocktail needs improvement. Their carne asada was kind of hard, but everything else was pretty good. The service was excellent: They are so friendly, and they really make you feel at home. I do wish, however, that they would serve their drinks out of actual "cantaritos."

The restaurant is clean, the service is friendly, and the food is wonderfully fresh with rich flavours. If youre looking for good Mexican food in the Placentia/Fullerton area, you should drop on by. This place is off the beaten path and you need to know that it exists or get lucky to find it.

You cant beat their 99¢ taco Tuesdays with $4 beers and margaritas. My favorites are the Chile Verde, chicharron, and pollo. I had 6 tacos, my friend had 6 tacos, we shared a plate of asada nachos, and we each had a churro. Walked out spending under $30 including tax and a generous tip.

Love this place. The entire staff is energetic and insanely friendly. My first time there I thought my server knew me from outside the restaurant but I had forgotten her. Nope. Turns out theyre all just happy to be there and serve customers good food.

Excellent and friendly Customer service!! Great selection of typical authentic salvadorean food. I live in Cal City, but whenever Im in town and have a craving for pupusas or "Platanos Fritos" this has become the spot to hit up.

We stumbled upon this place via Google reviews when staying at a local hotel. Wonderful service and delicious, authentic food. Homemade corn tortillas, chilaquiles, Carne Asada, fajitas. My kids loved it too. Delicious!

Good food, good prices, good service. There is often a wait on Taco Tuesday but well worth it - you can feed a family of four for under twenty bucks, including dessert (on Tuesdays, anyway).

We had lunch today, Sunday, were seated right away, service was fast and friendly, my chile Verde burrito was yummy, and prices were fair. I will definitely eat here again!

Great food n great service, but they need more Guacamole to go with the taquitos. The Chicken Taquitos had the most meat stuffed in it, it was excellent!

Dont judge this book by its cover. The decor is awful, but typical for low end Mexican, taqueria-esque. The menu and food, however are excellent.
