Its a neat little cafe but after buying two of their basic breakfasts and finding a completely burnt piece of bacon in one...it left me discouraged in their services. I also purchased a Little bag of baklava and while I was sitting outside I noticed an ant stuck in the plastic above where it was sealed. I went back inside and looked closely at the remaining bags and discovered several ants crawling on the baked goods. I let the Burnette with really dark eyebrows know (quietly) of the bugs. To my dismay she simply asked me if I wanted a refund which I in turn said no but you may want to move your goods. She said something to another employee, a blonde guy, about the ants being back. I even suggested to them a simple natural deterrent and instead of doing anything they left the goods sitting there..and may I mention I was sitting there for another 5 mins after I told them of the small problem. Im sad to leave a bad review but this one was warranted. Hopefully they wont ever serve burnt food to anyone else and good luck with the ants problem.

If you dont like a waitress taking your order at your table youll love this place. If you like paying for your food and being asked for a tip before you get your food youll love this place. If you like a cold egg breakfast youll love this place. If you like getting your own water, silverware, napkins, etc....youll love this place. If you like supporting businesses that encourage homelessness by letting homeless people walk in and help themselves to water and sit at tables as long as they want, youll love this place. If you dont like service with a smile youll love this place. My wife made me go here today. We usually go to Pennys All American which is just a block down the street. Pennys is a real diner and serves you at your table, doesnt solicit tips, serves warm food with butter already on my warm toast.....do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Honeymoon Cafe is a cute place to have a healthy breakfast. I ordered the chilaquiles, and the flavors were all there, and the pork was delicious and moist. The tortillas were soft, though Im used to them being crunchy. Theres outdoor seating where you can enjoy the ocean breeze. And its dog friendly! Though the portions are small, you will still leave satisfied. The food is good, but if you want something heartier (or someplace less expensive), then you should check out the other restaurants in the area.

This is a small and local breakfast place with excellent food. Try the Sunrise or Moonrise bagels, or one of their delicious Omelets. They sometimes have music on the weekends as well to add to the environment. The staff are friendly and the ingredients of the food are organic. Only downside is the place is small and can get very busy, there is often a line out the door and there can be long wait times. But this is how you know the place is good.. !

Food was decent....service beyond slow. The wait was close to 55 mins for breakfast...and that was a weekday. Wouldnt come back...that is too long to wait. To top it off...one of the breakfasts came out with over easy eggs instead of scrambled. When I brought the plate back to the counter the lady asked "you dont just want them like that?"

The customer service was subpar. Didnt listen to my order and they just went off the menu. I ordered a burrito and the whole burrito was a greasy mess that fell apart. When paying by card, gratuity was forced not earned. The overall experience was good environment and rushed service. Would come again but possibly be firm with ordering

The food is amazing an the service was just as amazing. I Jan the raspberry french toast and you have to try it or the zucchini french toast!! If you are in a hurry just get one of the items in a cup otherwise you will have to wait a little while for their fresh food. It is definitely worth the wait.

Cute place at one of my favourite beaches, but I waited forever for a smoothie and when it arrived they had forgotten to include the banana, which was a pretty key ingredient. To be fair, they did make me another one. But overall it just took a really long time to get a pretty basic smoothie.

Very pleasant ambiance, great choices, good food, reasonably priced. I tried the basic breakfast item with some extra toast and fresh orange juice, and everything was exactly how I needed it to be. Would highly recommend as a breakfast stop.

Honeymoon Cafe is by far my favorite cafe on the Central Coast. The food is always delectable, the service friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere creatively perfect... If youve never been here, then you are severely missing out.

Huevos Rancheros today...a taste delight. Just enough for a filling breakfast without making you overfull. Coffee in your choice of mugs was hot and plentiful. Took a Strawberry Fields salad home for a light lunch.

Walked in at 2 pm on a Wednesday and was told that the kitchen was closed in what came across as a rude tone. If you close at 2 pm on Wednesdays please update your info so people wont come in expecting brunch!

We drove by this place and thought it looked cool so we gave it a try. While not horrible, it was a disappointment. Just so-so. Well probably give it another try because it seems popular. Maybe we were wrong.

The only reason my wife and I agreed they shouldnt get that coveted fifth star is because service was slow both times we went there. Definitely worth the wait; a must go for breakfast/brunch.

Good food, good coffee. Try the cowboy burrito! They are apparently changing ownership very soon as a sign read on there premises. Hopefully it doesnt change too much.

You serve your self. You have to get your own water. No menus. Small. Very messy and confusing. Slow. But great coffee. I dont recommend to eat here.

They treat tourists like locals and have a great thing going for them here. Breakfast and coffee here are a must! Oh, and the craft beer too!

Great breakfast burritos. I had the Pig Pen and Im not usually a fan of bell peppers, but they were great with the eggs and carnitas.

Finding the menu was a bit of a challenge, but the food (and the juice!) was great. It is small so it can get a little crowded
