Ive lived here for years and didnt know this was here- its amazing!! It was a bit of a wait to order but they let us know in advance. The omelette were amazing, homemade enchilada sauce is the best Ive ever tasted. Prices are very reasonable & theyre super friendly and attentive. I dont see us going anywhere else for breakfast in Yakima!!

Pleasantly surprised! Very good take on breakfast. Mexican inspired breakfast. Had the chicken fajita skillet with enchilada sauce and a jalepeño. Very tasty! The service is friendly and the food tastes good. The name and exterior dont really tell the story. Give this place a try!

Took 5 min to even be greeted! Once we finally got sat at a table we watched 4 people standing around doing "busy" work and chit chatting. 20 min later and still nobody came over to take our order. Got up and walked out! Worst experience of ever had at a restaurant. Will never go back!

They had lots of staff but only one waitress. We had to wait 5 minutes to get our silverware after our food arrived. Before that, we had to wait 20 minutes to order. The biscuits are really dense. Needless to say, we will not come back and not recommend.

NOT FAST FOOD, its made fresh so give yourself time to relax. Reasonably priced, relaxing atmosphere. Very clean. This quote was seen inside "Backwoods Cafe nothing fancy, just good food". They have wifi and an area for groups.

Backwoods Cafe is my favorite breakfast destination. It is cozy and home style food is served. They are very nice and the food is always delicious. I highly recommend the chicken fajita skillet.
