There seems to be an explosion of these quick-fire pizza places. Ive gone to Pizza Press a few times now and its always good. They have a vast array of toppings, 4 types of sauces to choose and they are not at all skimpy with the toppings. But the best part!?!?! BEER! Yes, they have a great selection of craft beer with about 20 taps plus many bottles to choose from. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is that all of times Ive been there it has always taken a while to pay... Let me explain. You order your pizza and move down the line. At the end you can choose any finishing toppings, they slice it and put it in order for you to pay. The cashier happens to also be the person pouring beers. The backup happens when there is only one cashier working, and people start asking for tastes of various beers, which is helpful, however this invariably causes the line to back up and your pizza to slowly cool as you wait to pay. I would suggest on peak demands they have someone pouring beers while another rings everything through.

Double Ps has become my favorite byop joint. It has surpassed pieology on my list. The veggie options are 20% more than the average spots like pizza rev. They also carry gluten free, and vegan cheese which are things i must put on. For cheese lovers, pizza press ("PP") definitely contains more cheeses. From feta, to some weird stuff i cant say or spell. PP also has oregano, and thyme, and basil at the end. Chopped garlic or straight garlic are good options too. The peeps arent shy about stacking the veggies.... Great custie service. Can get a little slow with the service as the pizza exits the oven. They dont use a real oven but one of those toasters with a conveyer belt like what Noahs Bagels uses. Thank you buttmunchee for introducing me to this place in old town naranja.

We were at the Orange International Street Faire and my son had his sights set on Pizza! The "booth" that was serving pizza was out, so as we were walking we saw the Pizza Press. Man was he happy. The location had an old timey vibe to it, the staff were super friendly. Basically, this site builds the pizza for you, from a variety of ingredients that you can see and choose, totally custom. The Pizza cooks in about 5 min (thin crust) and then there are more topping you can add at the end. I am not a beer drinker but I couldnt help but notice a rather large Beer selection here, it appeared to be a lot of "custom" or foreign beers with alcohol content listed. Overall, great place would certainly go back.

I enjoyed this restaurant on many levels. The name Pizza Press is literally how they make their pizza. They grab a ball and dough and use a machine to press it flat. They also flipped the word “press” and used a printing press theme. All the pizzas are named after big time newspapers and all the employees had cute paperboy hats on. I tried three different pizzas and enjoyed all of them. The cheesy garlic bread is super garlic-y and really good. You can also custom make your own. The large open ceilings allowed the seating area to keep cool despite the pizza ovens being on all the time.

I did not think much of this place when I first saw it only because it looked like another blaze pizza or pieology. Boy, was I in for a surprise when I walked in and looked at their menu. They had different pizzas you can order and even had a Vegan pizza!( which I ordeer and loved btw!) The beers on tap werent your basic selection of millers too. They had crafts from sculpin to arrogant bastards to some weird but oddly delicious red velvet ale you can get. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and will be coming back when I have the chance.

This is the Chipotle of pizza restaurants where you choose your pizza by sauce, proteins and other toppings and it is baked and finished while you progress through the line. With the variety of toppings and sauces, you can have a different pizza on each visit. Its a thin crust pizza that can be shared but we each had our own and the price is lower than I expected. What set them apart is their incredible beer selection from the micro breweries from Southern California and beyond. The beer and pizza makes for a wonderful experience.

Great place, top of the line for pizza and beer, get it how you want it, you visually direct the construction step by step, lots of toppings to choose from, no excuses, the crust is delicious with a perfect crunch and each piece is easy to manage, no mush, no falling apart, no dripping mess. Compliment that with an excellent selection of craft beers and reasonable prices overall and you have a winner. Definitely a favorite spot.

This is the best thin crust pizza place in Orange County! You can "publish" your own pizza with endless amounts of toppings for one affordable price! They even have a vegan option. And for the beer lovers, there is about 15 taps that are continuously rotating with craft beer. Highly recommend Pizza Press and all their other locations.

Another version of the quick-fire pizza place. What makes this place unique is the variety of toppings and the drinks available. Its service and prices are competitive with its contemporaries. Discounting the fact that the pairing of toppings is at the discretion of the guest, the pies are ok.

Really great atmosphere. This place puts your chef skills to the test by only providing a hand full of predesigned pizzas. The rest is up to you, but they do provide quality ingredients including multiple choices of herbs, cheeses, and sauces. The pricing was acceptable for the area.

The pizza here is great with a good selection of fresh ingredients and a great variety of draft beers on tap. The price is also very affordable with the choice of unlimited toppings. I would have preferred my crust to be a little bit crunchier but overall it was a good experience.

This place is amazing!!! Theres always a line out the door but it is well worth the wait! There toppings are unlimited and are always fresh! You can get anything your little heart could ever desire. They even have vegan options. I would recommend everyone try it at least twice :)

This place is run by teenagers and it shows. System for getting food falls apart once it gets moderately busy. They mixed up both of our pizzas and then had to remake them because they were bubbled and burnt. There are much better pizza places close by for better pricing.

The dough is very taste, topping options are plentiful and fresh, sauces are zesty, served up quick and fresh. Sometimes you have to wait in line to make your pizza but it is worth the wait. Wide selection of tap beers to pick from. Sit outside and watch the crowd go by.
