I came here out of curiosity at first, and now its one of my more regular places to eat. The location and atmosphere is interesting and pleasant, the service is good, and of course the pizza is delicious. With plenty of choices and the ability to create your own pizza for a great price, this makes coming back to try different combinations utterly worth it. That being said, if there is one thing Im not sold on, its the way the pizza is given to the customer if you dont ask for a to-go box. The pizza is placed on a wooden peel after it is cooked (a wooden peel is basically a flat wooden board with tapered sides and a handle thats usually used to stick certain types of pizza into an oven) and the customer is given that to use as the plate. While it does look rather stylish and is pretty unique, this truthfully just comes off as clunky at best and really awkward to carry at worst. Not only do you have to worry about potentially dropping it or mosquitoes from outside, but this also means the pizza itself is getting colder faster. Plus it also makes getting a drink if your alone much more difficult since you either have to worry about dropping it while getting a drink or leaving it back at your table where anyone could take it/touch it. Its never happened yet, but weird things do happen. Maybe this is supposed to be environmentally friendly or something, but Needless to say, I always ask for a to-go box. Overall, a great place for quick and delicious pizza, with a rather odd and awkward bit that Im not sold on.

I missed the opening of Pizza Press while in Orange, so when this place by Operator Mr. Hon opened, I made sure I stopped for a visit. So yes, the them of this place is like that of a Operator/Press/Typing locale. You will find newspaper type paper under the pizzas and you see typewriter theme throughout the store. This is my 1st experience with the Pizza Press. I have to say, if you like your crust crunchy, theyve got this pat down. The crust is on the thinner side and even eating the day after being toasted, it still has the crunchiness texture. However, the sauce and the cheese here were very skimpy. I mean, my pizza was really thirsty for more sauce and more cheese. It was on the drier side because I dont load up on ingredients since I came with my kids who (like most kids) only gets cheese. They do have extra sauce at the end , feel free to ask for one in those black containers. The other thing was, the girl that was cutting the pizzas had a little bit of a shaky hand and was not fast enough. One of my pizzas were cut kids style with about 12 pieces while my other pizzas were cut 6 pieces. Strange, but part of the problem was because the place was so loud, its very difficult to talk by the cashier. Other than that, I think this place would do great for the quick bite crowd for the CSU Fullerton crowd.

Between Pieology, Blaze and Pizza Press Im truly torn as to which I like more, the difference is 2 are brick oven and pizza press is conventional oven but I have to say pizza press may be my fav slightly. Pieology doesnt have beer and they are becoming more of a good mall type pizza spot which I dont like. Blaze has beer but very limited with choices but they do have a thicker crust if your into that. Pizza press is a mix between the 2 of them with more beer options, and the same if not a few more toppings including seasonal pulled pork, and they still are able to keep that family environment, that for me gives them the edge, Pizza Press is the best!

Great pizza for an alright price along with a trendy hipster asthetic. You choose your own toppings in this place, with no limit. It costs more than, say, Little Ceasers down the street, but you pay for the quality and customization. All in all great place thats decently priced, and has a cool, relaxed feel to it.

The Pizza Press is very similar to other thin crust build your own pizza places. However I like the cooking method used at the Pizza Press more than other restaurants. At The Pizza Press each pizza is put through a conveyor oven individually, this results in a less greasy pizza.

Great pizza at a good price. This is what you should expect from a fast pizza restaurant. I love the craft beer selection of local choices and it always changes so it doesnt get old. If youre hungry for great pizza and beer, go to the pizza press.

My wife and I really like this place. There are very helpful with her gluten allergy, and the pizza is great. I love their beer selection! It is very eclectic, this is the place to find a rare beer on tap...or coldbrew.

Build your own pizza with local breweries on tap. Driving through tonight we stopped in by chance and liked it. Very clean, curious, friendly and helpful employees. Liked the food, beer and atmosphere.

I love the feel of his place. It is like you are in a early 1900s factory. The great thing is you dont have to worry about getting injured or something. It did smell pizza in there.
