We moved to Oak Park from Westlake about six months ago and we visited this Subway on various occasions with different quality of food and service, but lately the service in this place is horrible. About two weeks ago we stopped by 20 mins before closing time and ordered meatball sandwich and the young guy said he didnt have anymore, then what about turkey and ham"?, I asked, His answer: "everything is in the back already, you will have to wait 10 mins for me to get things ready". What?! 20 mins before closing time?! Then I look around and all the chairs were already up in the tables and group of 4 or 5 guys were eating chips and drinking soda obviously waiting for him to get out of there. Blahh, I blamed it on his youth. Last week, I went there after picking up my kid from school and ordered 3 sandwiches, bottled sodas and chips. When I got home one sandwich was missing and they put the ice cold sodas inside the same bag with the hot sandwiches (I was dealing with two very hungry and tired 3 and 6 year old boys and didnt check before leaving) . This week, I stopped by again and ordered a Tuna footlong and a footlong Meatball, do you want to guess how many meatballs were in the sandwich? 3, yes only three meatballs in a footlong, immediately called the store and the lady that answer the phone, "Elizabeth" who was the same person who prepared and charged me for the meal, told me that she had asked the other employee to put more meatballs in the microwave and thought he had finished the sandwich. Hello?!!! she prepared both sandwiches and finished my transaction, how could she have forgotten about it?!! So after three strikes we decided no more Subway in Oak Park for us. It is a shame that the owners or managers dont take charge of the situation here and, since there arent many places to eat out in this small city, they will keep having business. Well, not with our family. Never again will we set a foot in that place.

Disregard the reviews on here, they are old and they have (Im guessing since Ive been there several times and these people dont seem familiar) restaffed. They have great fast service and if you sign up for their text message thing you can get some pretty good deals. I go after school with my friends now and then and there are usually quite a few people there. Highly recommend if you like Subway!

The place is always empty because the kids that work there are all in the back having personal conversations. The service is horrible and one kid, whose name starts with a "T" is disgusting. He cant put a sandwich together, is combative and uses profanity. He doesnt wash his hands either. Will drive twice as far so I dont have to go to this one. STAY away.

Subway is the best food place in the world. I try to go there everyday and get a sandwich. I would definitely recommend subway to everyone i know. The employees there are the nicest sweetest people i have ever met and honestly not everyday do you experience the kindness of people but at subway I experience it everyday. I LOVE SUBWAY SO MUCH!
