I had a horrible experiences today and wanted to share. My previous experience (a few years ago) was not very good, but today I was with other Korean friends and we craved for Korean food after hanging out at the park a few hours on a cold day, so decided to try this place. I hoped they brought in a new owner or a new chef. I dont remember if the owner changed, but the quality was definitely worse. We ordered Combo dinner ($120 for 4 people), thought it was a good deal given the variety inside. It was not. Toward the end of meal, we still felt hungry. Serving was really slow, and staffs were not proactive. It seemed that this restaurant was run by only two people. More details on food: 1. Kalbi was served first. It was really salty and too sweet. 2. After grilling Kalbi (marinated meat), the grill plate became very dirty, but they didnt want to replace with a clean one. Instead, they placed port belly and it soon got covered with ash. 3. Steamed egg in a hot pot (gyeranjjim) was served. They put too much sesame oil on top. Yucky. We couldnt finish it. 4. Seafood pancake was only half cooked, and it was 80% starch, with very little seafood ingredient in it. They even put imitation crab meat in there. I couldnt believe it... 5. After series of disappointments, beef brisket was served last. It came frozen like ice (which is definitely not the right way to serve), and the cooking plate was not hot enough, so it cooked slow, leaving beef brisket very dry after cooked. Even worse, it smelled like Chlorine. We all smelled it and looked each other... wondering if its safe to eat. I couldnt take it any longer, so complained big time. The owner offered to take $20 off out of $120 (really?), and a moment later said that he actually didnt care about my opinion (he really said that).... because 99% of the customers are non-Koreans, and they never complain and consider this is good food. What??? As a Korean, I wanted this restaurant really gave such good experience about Korean food to non-Koreans. Guys, definitely dont think this is a typical Korean food quality. This place is a shame.

Food: 3 Decor: 2 Service: 3 Came here with a huge party for dinner Thu night. AYCE dinner for $20 pp. The salad tasted very weird, and the restaurant smelled like stinky tofu inside. The pork belly was way too fatty (80% fat), and theres only 1 grill per table (even though we had 6 people at ours). They also only give a max 2 pieces of galbi pp. However, the rest of the meat was okay. We started off with a sampler plate (all 6 meats), and our favorites were the galbi, bulgogi, and spicy pork. Service was okay, although it took a really long time for our first order of meat to come out.

i went there for lunch today and had a pretty bad experience. the service was slow (there were only 2 waitresses running around this huge restaurant). my order was mixed up (i ordered mushroom tofu with meat and they gave me a stew without meat) there was a piece of hair in my stew. the only reason im giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 is because their stew is quite flavorful. i hope they hire more waitresses and pay more attention to service. they have the potential to be a 5 star tofu cabin!

My first Korean BBQ experience. It was a little awkward to order because the waitress (and everyone else in the restaurant) did not speak much English. Two of us ordered dishes to cook at our table and the rest ordered food that was cooked in the kitchen. For some reason, the exact same dish cooked by you at your table costs ten dollars more. Food tasted excellent. Would go back!

음식은 정통 한국의 맛과는 약간 다른 풍미가 있지만 고기부페, 단품 식사 다 괜찮습니다. 손님이 많을 땐 주문이나 계산 등 시간이 오래 걸리는 단점은 있습니다.

I came here in about 2 years. Just wanted to see if everything is the same. Definitely not, the food and service is amazing. I think there is a new owner if I am not mistaking. I ordered the all you can eat with one of my friends and the worker was very kind and fast at their job. I will come here more often now.

The food was good, especially the spicy pork. But we waited forever to be seated despite the fact that there were more than enough seats. We also had to wait long times between times the water came to see us, despite the fact that there werent that many people in the restaurant.

Excellent Kalbi, unique, all-you-can-eat and cook at your table BBQ, without the buffet. They just keep bringing you more of whatever youd like. Unfortunately, the BBQ is only available for dinner. At lunch, they make good bulgogi, japchae, bibimbap, and seafood pancake.

The food was great. We had bbq and it was really fun. The only bad thing is that no-one in this place cant communicate in English well. You have to ask/explain more than 3 times and they look very confused.

We had a good time, the restaurant was empty other than my friend and I. Not sure how full it gets. The food selection was OK, but didnt leave a lot of space for people with dietary restrictions.

Went in on Saturday, the place was only half full. It took us 10 minutes to get seated, 20 minutes to get our orders taken. 30 minutes in we dont even have water. Left hungry and frustrated.

We tried this once, because we love Korean bbq - and found it to be "fine". We havent returned because wed rather drive to our favorite Korean bbq place in San Mateo (we are MTV residents).

Liked the family stay way the food is served and fried on the table. The quality of the meat was not so great so and I missed some fresh vegetables as sides when you order all you can eat.

Its okay. A nice option for an all-you-can-eat barbecue for a group. I wanted wanted something more exciting. Taste wise... Texture wise, color wise... but mostly taste wise.

I got the vegetable tofu soup and really liked it. I also liked the banchan and the service. At $10 including tax and tip, it was a delicious and very filling lunch.

The food is great (especially if you now how to cook the meat just right), but I find it to be on the pricy side. They definitely overcharge for the soju.

They desperately need more servers! The wait time was pretty horrible (~40 minutes on a Saturday evening), but the food was good.

FYI They no longer have any real vegetarian mains, the menu has been changed.
