We were turned away at 7:30 by an empty and cleaned out buffet line, even though the sign said they were open until 10:00. The wait staff ignored us when we walked in: the waitress was wiping down tables with a filthy rag and the man at the counter was doing financial work. Confused about whether or not to seat ourselves, we walked in and saw the empty buffet. It took us three tries to find someone that spoke English, and they told us they had stopped restocking the buffet, but were still "Open". The few slabs of meat and scraps of veggies left on the buffet line looked to have been there for hours: the meat was warm, the veggies wilted, and the noodles soggy. The walls are a nasty off-yellow that made the place look dirty. The staff all look to have been working in the sun: dirty and sweaty, especially the cook. The place was also uncomfortably warm. I didnt even get a chance to sample the food: I was shunned at the door, and was too turned off by the rude staff, dirty appearance, and nasty food to stay even if they were serving.

When you need lots of vegetables and meet, go here. Also good place for people who can not eat too much carbohydrates. They do not seem to use oil when cooking but rather using water, so it taste more like steamed food.

Ive been going here since it was called Colonel Lees; I like the food just as much, and it looks a lot less ghetto now after a remodeling. Its a basic mongolian bbq buffet - get a bowl, fill it with frozen meat, fresh veggies, noodles and sauce, and theyll stir fry it up for you on a big round grill. The ingredients are fresh and the prices are low; the one problem is that the taste largely depends on what ingredients and sauces you select, so experiences will vary.. They do give suggested sauces though; I just use 10 scoops of garlic water and some hot sauce. Besides the bbq bowl, they include spring rolls, soup, and soft serve ice cream for dessert.

Reading the reviews you would think the place was rocking and fun but when you arrive you quickly realize thats not the case, not what I would call a fun place unless your on a field trip from the nursing home. Did they buy the rating from Yelp, things that make you go hmmm. If you are cheap, overweight, and like to eat, eat, eat, then I guess this place is fun. Service was good but the food was substandard. Sure cheaper than eating Mongolian at the Mall but there its much better quality, you just get one trip. Very limited choices here to add to your dish verses many other Mongolian BBQs. Not a place we plan to return.

Everything was fresh and very tasty. Tuesday night at 7 pm and this place is hopping a lot of college students which is awesome. They had plenty of pork, chicken, lamb, and beef. Veggies nice and crisp. The sauces you put in are outstanding the house and chili combo mmm tasty. Downtown is busy and booming. Parking for entire downtown is lame but that just means Capitalism is alive and working. Will come back again and again.

This place is great. Its basically a family owned version of the Mongolian BBQ chain thats common in the mid-west. They have a good selection of components and the atmosphere is far more relaxed than what you would get in a chain restaurant. Its all you can eat and really reasonably priced so being able to sit and talk over a meal without feeling rushed adds to the overall experience.

Pretty standard all-you-can-eat Mongolian BBQ. Pick noodles, frozen meat, veggies, and sauce and theyll fry it up for you right before your eyes. You can go back as many times as you want. They also have egg rolls and soft serve ice cream. Its really cheap if you really chow down, fun place to go with lots of friends. (The wait can be surprisingly long on weekends.)

Although the food and service are somewhat mediocre, it is still a good place for all-you-can-eat with cheap price. Whatever sauce you put into the ingredient it all tastes the same, so maybe it only makes sense to come once in a while. Also the sauces are not that salty so you might want to add more sauce than they suggest.

Have only gone here for takeout orders during lunch, which they give you generous portions for that are enough to feed two. At only $10 a box its a pretty decent place to get your fill on some Mongolian BBQ, and service is quick too. Cant speak to the sit-down service. A decent place for a quick bite to eat.

Food was tolerable. Service and cleanliness.........SUCKED. They sat us down and left us to fend for ourselves. Nobody asked if we wanted something to drink or if we wanted....anything. Then they started cranking up Broadway soundtracks to the point you couldnt hear anything else. Wont go there again

If you are new to Mongolian BBQ, you choose your ingredients, and they cook it in front of you. This is a typical Mongolian BBQ, with a good choice of ingredients. Their house special sauce is delicious. Its all you can eat, and they also serve spring rolls and soft-serve ice cream.

This place is soooo tasty and hits the spot every time. I really enjoy all of the sauces they have for the food and selection they have in the buffet. Not the very best Ive had but its a great lunch option in downtown mountain view. I will be eating here more in the future.

Practically no wait to get a table. The build your own bowl style is actually kinda fun and, since you can see them cooking it, it doesnt feel like your food takes forever. Would be a great first date spot if youre looking for something exciting and conversation starting.

This place is cheap for all you eat. 13 bucks l adult. Watch out if youre behind someone with alot chilis in their bowls. They dont clean the grill between customers sometimes so ask them unless you wants yours spicy. Soup can be served upon demand. Cheap and good.

Cheap good food as much as you can eat. And the best thing is that everything is done exactly as you want it. You can choose your protein from pork, beef, chicken, or lamb and veggies as you like from variety of vegetables and sauces also... Highly recommended!

This is absolutely one of my favorite places on Castro street. The value alone keeps us coming weekly. The staff is friendly and encourages to keep you going back for more. There may be a wait on some nights but theres plenty of seats including outdoor seating.

I guess its an acceptable all-you-can-eat Mongolian bbq for around $15 each. Of course the meat is frozen, and Id skip the egg rolls that are pure oil and heavy and the tasteless soft serve. Service is below average, and the hallway to the restrooms is dreadful.

All you can eat Mongolian BBQ. For anyone not familiar with Mongolian BBQ, they put out a bunch of raw ingredients (meat, noodles, veggies) and you take what you want and hand it to them to cook. It just takes a minute or two to cook on the giant grill.

If you havent been to this place and had their food yet, then what are you waiting for?! Its my favourite place to go when im hard-pressed for ideas on something to eat and just want something fast and easy. And they have outdoor seating and alcohol!
