This place is my favorite restaurant. Its family run and has the best refried beans and the best margaritas. I havent tried many of their dishes...I cant get enough of the enchiladas, so I just keep ordering the enchilada combo. I have gathered with friends here many times, and hope to continue the tradition. Once, when a member of my party asked if they had salsa that was hotter, the waitress brought out fresh hot peppers that had been picked out of the garden of someone on staff. Youre not going to get that at a chain restaurant. I dont mind paying a little extra to support a local small business that serves good food.

Food is excellent, my favorite is Baja Quesadilla with shrimp and cheese in a light sauce grilled to perfection. Fajitas are excellent too, and there is a choice of flour vs. corn tortillas (I dont like corn ones). Top it off with a glass of Jamaica (hibiscus tea) which is a tad too sweet for me. I always order "no ice" but perhaps I should try some ice next time. Service is quick, the place is clean and usually not crowded. A gem in Mountain View.

Im not a Mexican food Eater. But a group of friends wanted to eat mexican food and so i went here as apart of the group. I ordered the Carnitas De Pollo which comes with Chunks of chicken breast sauteed with bell peppers, Onions. It also included Guacamole, Rice, Beans & Cole Slaw, (however i had them hold the beans and Guacamole) I totally enjoyed my meal, and will probably eat here again before I head back south.

There are so many good authentic Mexican places around, I dont know how this place stays in business. Its standard americanized Mexican food, but even if thats what you want you can probably find better quality elsewhere, the food tasted reheated, chips were stale. The interior of this place is also very run down. Its also a bit on the pricey side, definitely way overpriced for this level of quality.

A great and very authentic Mexican restaurant. One of the best north of the Rio Grande. Tasty food excellent service. I come here every time I am in the Bay area and have never been disapointed. Every time I try different dish. Today I had steak Mexicali (MR). Tasted wonderfull and was very tender. Just great. To find something more authentic you need to go to Ticuana...

Their slogan is We Serve "Fresh" Dishes Only. I thought the double quotes were a punctuation error, but they are in fact scare quotes. My grilled vegetable burrito had almost no vegetables, and was largely rice, beans and cheese in a flavorless, microwaved mix. At least that made it easier to pick out five pebbles that had somehow made it into the dish.

Having been raised on Mexican food and the minute I bit into the chips and salsa, I knew the food was going to be excellent. I was far from disappointed. This is great Mexican food. If my travels ever bring me back to Mountain View, or the bay area, I would go out of my way to eat here.

They have the BEST super burrito ever!!! Especially with ground beef. And the service is great and place is very comfortable. I cant seem to order anything else on the menu except for the super burrito right but eventually I will want to try the other things. :)

Amazing food and great customer service! Its a family owned restaurant and they always give you more chips and salsa for free! Their margaritas are pretty good but the food is out of this world. I havent been disappointed with everything Ive tried from them so far.

I came here after a fitness class looking for some healthy food option. And I found it - chicken salad fulfilled my needs. Extra appreciation for serving dressing aside. This way I could add just a bit of it. The taste was basic, nothing special.

Been going here for countless years. Amazing quality Mexican food. They dont use animal fat in their rice or beans, so its vegetarian-friendly. Price is a tad expensive though, but this isnt some cheap Mexican eatery, so thats to be expected.

Aweome quesadillas! I crave the Baja quesadilla every few weeks and swing by there for lunch. It comes with shrimp, bell peppers, onions, and lots of other tasty stuff. They have margaritas by the pitcher as an added bonus.

Extremely overpriced ($16 for two tacos, what?), and pretty boring flavor wise. Small portions at that. Just keep driving and go to one of the dozen other Mexican places in the MTV area. This was embarrassing.

Charming family run restaurant with excellent food, drinks and welcoming and warm atmosphere. I hope to return here many times in the future. Easy parking and close to Castro Street and the station.

Homey family run restaurant with great vibe. Vegetation options are good if a little heavy on the cheese and light on the veggies. Ask for the Jalisco tequila in your margarita, its quite good.

Service and nachos were nice but the main food was really lacking. Enchiladas and rice were dry. For enchiladas being their speciality it was certainly disappointing.
