This is probably my favorite Mexican restaurant in the San Gabriel valley. Not that many restaurants around here serve tortas, and the ones that do arent nearly as good. The tortas here are almost perfectly executed. The telera roll is hot and grilled in butter to the ideal crispness. The layer of refried beans is thin and flavorful. The lettuce and avocado add the exact texture they were meant to, while the jalapeños give some kick without giving you that overblown pickled flavor you sometimes get. And the tomato, while not always ripe, is always a juicy complement to the bread and meat. Pollo asado, al pastor, carnitas, all the meat options are delicious. The only torta I ever got here and didnt like was the Cubana, but that might have just been me. I simply cant get over how good the tortas here are. The pico de gallo here is also some of the best you can find in LA, though the chips they serve it with are inconsistent: good some days but overcooked on others. The other menu highlight, in my opinion, are the enchiladas. Their delicious salsa verde and very juicy meat and cheese preparations make for a much better enchilada than a lot of Mexican places do, in my opinion. Bottom line, the food is fantastic. The service is perfectly fine, and the experience of eating there is only really good if you enjoy watching soccer on TV, but the food will keep you coming back.

Got the shrimp cocktail, the shrimp were smaller than what they falsely advertised on their menu. Got their carnitas torta and the meat was salty, chewy and dry. Got their shredded beef tostada, and their tostada was inappropriately tiny compared to their picture on the menu. Not to mention that the meat on the tostada was also salty and chewy. And my eight year old ordered a torta, and i asked what was on it, they mentioned everything except the pickled jalapenos. I like spicy, but he cant handle it. This place was clean, the service not bad, but we will not be back!

Good watermelon juice, chips and salsa and the shrimp cocktail appetizer. The food Im not so crazy about. First time I went there I had a combo plate and the tamale was dry and seemed like it had been over microwaved. The second time I went I had the chicken enchiladas suizas and it tasted tangy and weird.

Pretty good Mexican food. LOTS of food choices on the menu to choose from. HUGE parking lot - being next to a Vons grocery. Their breakfast specials are reasonably-priced, too (from 9-11Am). Nice, friendly staff, too. Beer & wine available.

Tortas sits in a class between burrito hut and Mexican restaurant. The tortas are very tasty and the menu is big enough for everyone. The price is right for feeding a lot of people. We like the family meal deal and the taco specials.

Great food flavors ! I love this place. The cashiers are always very polite and professional. The food is consistently amazing and you can get full for under $10. Amazing little place

Nachos were absolutely unacceptable, the cheese was over heated and hard. Leo was very rude. But the enchillada was Bomb. But you suck leo, and the uber deliverer lol said "No tip!?"

Food arrived cold after a 2 hour wait. I live 1/2 mile away. The mahi-mahi was substituted with some thin nasty tasting white fish. Dont trust their delivery service!!!
