Thank You Mrs. Mali and the team at Bahar restaurant for doing a fantastic job catering my daughters graduation party. This was one of the best experiences I have had with a catering company, starting with MRs. Mali and her suggestions on the menu and pricing and timely response to any questions or changes I had, always with kind words and reassuring that all will be well. The variety and quality of food, the unique appetizers, the presentations and choice of serving dishes, the elegant Chafing dishes and timely delivery, bringing the appetizer at 5 and coming back at 7 with the chef and Manghal to do the fresh Kababs. The Tahchins and egg plant appetizers were amazing. Thank you for your excellence all the way. I recommend Ms. Mali and Bahar restaurant without any reservation for a hassle free and elegant Persian fusion couisine.

Unfortunately the quality of food has deteriorated. In two occasions recently (Q1 2016) we ate here and told our selves we will not come back till something majorly changes here. Our food did not taste authentic (missed flavor and texture of good Persian food), my chicken was honestly cold... yes cold when served. When I asked them to change it, they simply microwaved it to heat it back up... I personally do not like Microwaved food and do not intend to pay money at a restaurant to warm my food in a Microwave and serve me... My hope is that they improve quality, and service in order to win back my business over their well established competition in the same vicinity.

The owner was talking so loud with a lady like they trying to solve a big problem.(I then understand she is working inside)that I felt so uncomfortable.I went there with my son. There was a flower on the table. My son wanted to understand if it is real or not. He started to look and touch one flower which is on our table.She start yelling SORRY AF

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, TIME AND HEALTH in BAHAR restaurant. THEY SERVE TERRIBLE FOOD. I was there with my husband and my daughter on 3/21/15 to celebrate my husbands birthday on the first day of New Year. We ordered 3 different foods, which all 3 were cold. They heat it up pre-cooked kabob with in oil as a result food came with horrible smell and look greasy, you could see oil in the plate!! I asked for grilled white fish. The fish and rice was cold and it wasnt grilled. I dont know what it was. It was greasy too. At the end it was a bad experience. WE ARE NOT GOING BACK AGAIN. In addition service was awful too. I cannot give any star. CH

The food is consistently good and most items are better than other Persian restaurants. Service is not always great, but we tolerate it because of the food and they do try. Some of the reviews are overly harsh. Ive not been to a restaurant yet that didnt have good and not so good days. Overall, Bahar is very good and is authenticly Iranian, despite what a certain reviewer wrote. Its as authentic as any other Persian restaurant weve been to and frankly, as good as most Iranian cooks.

I have been going to this restaurant for 5 years because its the only Persian food in the area. The food is always outstanding and the service is always HORRIBLE. I sometimes have to ask for things four to five times before they bring it. Whoever runs this place is a moron and doesnt understand that service is just as important as the food. Food 8 out of 10. I found this place by accident and was happy I did. The plates we had were all delicious, and considering the fact that all of the food comes from the store below,, its all fresh as can be.

The restaurant has amazing food! Its great for pickup too. Cheap and fast. The manager is good but hes a bit stubborn. But what does the manager have to do w/t anything? Hes not making the food!
If you go to Saddleback College this is the most convenient BA

I think their food is one of the best and comparably less expensive.
I dont know of anyone within family and friends that says anything negative about their food. We always choose Bahar for our catering. Try their Fesenjoon...signature dish! SH

Very disappointed with the food. I ordered beef koobideh and it was already falling apart, only 1 tomato was in it (is it expensive?),Bad quality rice. it used to be good but now I think Hatam is a better choice ;) staff are friendly tho. PE

My favorite Persian restaurant in Orange County, affordable and really tasty. The employees specially Miriam is WONDERFUL, always smiling and ready to help!!! My favorites are boneless chicken, chicken with bones and geimeh. PE

qormesabzi doesnt have real taste. Kabob was ok. Rice wasnt bad. fesenjoon was probably the best. Btw I tried the kashk and bademjokn which is the appeteizer and it wasnt bad. DO
