I must have caught this place on an off day, although with only 3 other tables full when we walked in, and a party outside, to receive only water within 20 minutes, bread with no butter within 40 minutes, and being outright ignored by two staff members by minute 60, I literally walked out and went down the street to Antonuccis. I came here for a birthday lunch/dinner, and left with my sisters feeling embarrassed for the place. I left $5 for the bread, but would have rather been treated as a human being, and acknowledged even if to say Ill be with you soon. No, I was ignored. I do not leave poor reviews often, an establishment has to really go out of their way to provide an uncommonly bad experience. I see you have mostly good reviews, and the food sounded like it would be great, I just wish I could have tasted it. But, on a plus, you pushed me to what will be my go to from now on. So... thanks for that, I guess.

This restaurant is a Hidden Gem if you want good Italian and Argentine food try this place my favorite is there Caesar salad with the shrimp on top and Im not talking about small shrimp they give you four large grilled shrimp to Perfection .Tuesdays are empanadas are only $0.99, pizzas are so so but their Pasta Bolognese is really good next time I want to try their skirt steak Ive seen a lot of people order it and boy does it look good its served on the side with a chimichurri sauce. This restaurant also has a lunch area with a fresh meat market I like to buy beef cutlets theyre very good they have fresh bread pastries wine assorted groceries you must go in and try this place I dont think theres anything on the menu that isnt good waiters are really considerate and fast very polite it gets busy so I recommend that you go either a little bit before the lunch time or a little bit before the dinner time.

There are 2 sides to this restaurant, a casual deli side and a fancy restaurant side. Since it was just lunch for 1, I opted for the casual deli side. I had the OC Restaurant Week 3 course lunch for $15. First course was beef empanada. Flaky crust with meaty beef filling. With a bit of the chimichurri sauce, it was very appetizing and I couldnt wait to taste my main dish, the Entraña Villa Roma. The skirt steak was grilled to perfection. It was chewy and oily - in a really good way. Their chimichurri sauce added more points to the dish. The rosemary roasted potatoes and mixed vegetables were both very flavorful. The meal concluded with smooth and silky homemade flan. Service was attentive and friendly. I truly enjoyed my lunch experience here.

I have been to the full service restaurant and the cafe next door on several occasions, and have never been disappointed with any of the food I have sampled. This is one place where I can count on getting my steak cooked just right. The servers at the cafe are always very helpful in letting you know what the specials are for the day and what specials will be coming up for future dates. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of meat you are getting. I also like the bakery items and bread they sell at the small attached market. At the deli counter I have purchased the "matambre" to bring home and make sandwiches, delicious!

If you have never been to this hidden gem in Laguna Hills you have been missing out. Fine Dining at Chain Dining prices! I have been going to this establishment for years and have never had a bad experience. They will always make you welcome. Or if you are in a hurry or want something more Casual. Check out the market attached next door owned by the same company. They use the same kitchen and always have the lastest football game on!

Food is very good. Used to be better a few years ago, but still very good and above American standards. Prices are quite good considering the food, better than most restaurants with much lower quality food. Ambiance is familiar at the deli (we watch every soccer game ever) The formal restaurant next door is part of the same and it has live music in weekends. Availability of Argentinian products and quality is great!

The food was on the low end of mediocre. Salty, thick, heavy, and mushy pasta, gnocchi, and breaded chicken. I feel totally gross after having eaten there. Why would you pair skinny french fries (not shoe string fries) to breaded chicken ham and cheese on it? Coppola merlot gave me a headache, too, but that may just be an allergy. Service was friendly and reasonably attentive for how packed the place was.

We have been coming here for years. This is a Italian, Argentine restaurant that also has a deli where you can order off the menu and watch a good soccer game. The food is incredible and the atmosphere is great. If its the weekend, go to the restaurant side and get your salsa dancing on. Great evening out or lunch hangout.

Poor service, saw waiter 3 times over a 60 period, had to ask for water from busboy. Food oily and Very fatty not offer dessert or coffee, ask for check 3 times from staff as waiter was visiting with friends at another table constantly. Will never return. Restaurant 40% full, no reason for poor service.

Great food, great ambiance. However, a creepy guy with a horrible body odor ruined our happy time. Beware! He says hes Italian, his Spanish is better than his English. He preys younger women...but also mature women!

This is an excellent restaurant and market, great food and service. The selection of wines is excellent, we drive from San Diego once a month to eat here and buy some supplies. Great prices as well.

Weak food with no ambience. Flavors are off, Flan tastes alike dry mixture... really dont botter. Tip for the owners... dont put hot food on a cold plate. Specially when using your oversized plates.
