If I could give zero stars, I would. Dont come here... I dont think the owner cares or is paying attention to the staff and quality of food that should match the price you pay. I would rather lose $65 at a casino or a loan shark than waste it here. At least it would be fair with knowing what you were getting into. So consider this your warning. Saying this place sucks and is a joke of a sushi place is me being nice. Dont eat here. 7-11 junk is better. The sashimi was so close to being expired, I couldnt tell the difference between tuna and salmon. The oyster appetizer was subpar and the overall experience left a third of my Sapporo to die on the table like everything else they served me. I didnt care to drink it— and I always finish my beer. And the service? Little kindergarteners playing restaurant do a better job being genuine or at least acting like it. The waitress (who I saw leaving 10 min before they actually close) ran my card and had me sign the receipt as I was eating my appetizer. They need to reconsider their business hours because the last 1.5 hours feels like the service you sometimes get if you walked in 5 minutes before closing. That gave me the chance to think and decide they dont deserve a tip. And I cant remember the last time I ever refused to tip. Terrible. Im not the best tipper, but Im not the worst. I could keep going but i think you get the point.

Its my first sushi boat experience, so Im biased towards this place. Upon entering, you are greeted warmly by the chefs and waiters. The only seat I like is at the bar. The sushi tasted authentic enough, not too dry like some other places Ive tried. Every 15 minutes or so they put out a bunch of special dishes on the boats. The only downside is that some plates sit there without anybody taking them the whole time I sat at the bar. All in all, its a pretty good price for what youre getting. Its the only place I will order nigiri.

Just a short note: Please do NOT expect Sushi Maru Restaurant House to accommodate a party of more than 4 people. This restaurant is not for large groups.Make your reservation ahead of time otherwise be prepared to wait. There is a reason why this place is so packed every day that theyre open. Its that good.

Sushi here is perfection! Everything is so fresh and service was great from start to finish. I liked everything on my plate. So good!! I have here about years and years and it NEVER disappoints. Excellent sushi and good service all the time. Will def come back for more.

Good place for lunch; excellent service on the menu items, and the servings from the conveyor boats are freshly made and tasty. Be careful how much you eat from the conveyor; you can easily spend $40 - $50 if you get carried away.

Unlike sushi boats I had before, they put a good variety of sushi rolls on the boat as well. The quality is fine, but sometimes the sushi do get a little old after spending time on the boat. I will probably give it another try.

The boats around the bar are fun to choose what you like as you are hungry. They have a good variety going around. They were great about making some pieces "well done" while I couldnt eat raw fish for a while.

Good sushi at a reasonable price. The quality of the fish and sushi is quite good. Choosing from the boats as they go by is fun, and easier for sushi newbies! The service here is always good.
