First time Ive been to Gen. I thought it was pretty good! We were a big party split into 2 tables. The tables were clean and the hoods looked clean and nice altogether. It was Saturday at 2pm so it was dinner menu. We could order 4 dishes at a time. Dishes came pretty quickly. Service was good because our waitress was back often. Orders came pretty quick. The waitress changed our grills whenever we asked, which for our table was 3x and our other table 2x. Meat was tasty and seemed like overall good cuts. The food was good. We took the whole 2 hours. It was a good deal for $25 a person. Some of my friends werent impressed though and thought the service wasnt great. I am not as stringent though because even though it was 2pm it was busy/packed! Im not sure what theyre expecting. They did forget 2 orders nearing the end of our 2 hours though. However we werent going to put energy into getting it. I enjoyed my food and time there and would come back again, though maybe with a smaller party.

I know its boring to be joining the crowd here, but this place is pretty much as good as it gets. The food, as others have said, is fantastic (especially at dinner). The portions are very generous. Most of all, service is prompt and friendly. Special shout out to Mariah who always had a genuine smile on her face - something much costlier establishments could use a lesson in. I also would like to point out that we did not think the same of the San Jose location: There we found service to be more shallow, and making a reservation there was a nightmare. The Milpitas location was much more flexible and friendly. I really appreciate this as I lead a food group and need to make large reservations frequently. Well be back often... (and we are lucky enough to have this within walking distance)!

All-you-can-eat korean barbecue. Interior is pretty hip. When service is great this place is definitely a place I would recommend, however when it is too busy service can be pretty horrible. Weve been to Gen 6 times and each time the service was different. Waits can be long and you must make sure at least 80% of party are present to be seated. If you are looking for traditional KBBQ its not really this place, but to come close you need to ask for all the sauces and goodies you need. One unexpected thing would be the steamed egg is not in the usual hot clay bowl. It is served in a small foil tin bowl and takes a while for it to be fully cooked. Several times it seemed they forgot the salt, but couple of times it tasted great. Hit or miss.

This place seems to be trying to be a little too trendy, but the food is pretty good. Ive been twice and had the all-you-care to eat meat and sides. The food was really good each time, but the service left quite a bit to be desired. The first time we went they forgot several of our orders and got a couple of them wrong, even bringing us pork when one of the people couldnt eat pork for religious reasons. The second time it wasnt that they got orders wrong, but they just took forever to bring us things, including the dipping sauces for the meats and then some of our orders.

I went there, and the food was great. There were a few mistakes here and there, but everything was so busy for them I cant complain. Dispite all the customers, our server kept a very up beat mood and was very helpful. He was a model employee, and was very diligent in getting what we requested for as he filled orders and ran around. I have a lot of respect for the food service industry, and our server was a wonderful example of how the front of house should perform. BTW, the music in the loo is amazing. I sat in there for like 15 minutes

1. Call; check the wait & prepare your patience 2. Make sure everyone in your party knows how loud it will be (grandma & grandpa) 3. Go on an empty stomach 4: 2 hour dinner limit This is such a fun environment. The loud music = good vibes. The food is great but the service is .... ok.... Pretty chaotic at both locations. Once your server gets everything to your table you are pretty set for a while. Be careful, the floors are super greasy ! Hawaiian steak is my fave ♡

The bad news first: the wait is long (45-60 minutes at 8:30pm on a Sunday night). Everything else was great. The wait staff was attentive, responsive and polite. Food came quickly after being seated thanks to being able to pre-order the first four dishes while waiting. The quality of the food was very good and the flavored ad soju was pretty decent too. Kids four years old and under eat free and those between five and ten eat at half price. Well definitely come back ☺.

Definitely go hungry. Dont go alone. There is so much food and the more people you bring the more you can try. We got full on meat and veggies we only had a little rice. We went for lunch and five minutes after we sat down the place was packed with a line. They are used to first timers. The staff is very patient and helpful. Excellent food. Excellent service Excellent price.

Its worth the wait! The parking lot is sort of a fiasco but have a little patience or just go to dinner early and avoid the insanity. Same goes for the restaurant. It gets packed but it is worth waiting for. Service is a little rushed but I get it -they have half of Milpitas waiting for a table. But enjoy their amazing selection of meats!

Came for all-you-can eat Korean BBQ. The line and wait were both long due to the popularity of the place, but no marks off there. Food was decent and service was relatively fast. Taking one star off for the obnoxiously loud music. Its almost impossible to have a conversation with the level of noise in the restaurant.

Ayce Korean BBQ. You order a couple items at a time which they then bring out to you, then you order some more. When its busy (and it often is) it means you have to wait to get more food and the backlog of items on order means things often get forgotten. Food quality is average.

Great food and alittle bit pricey but its worth it. Service can be alittle slow but I do not hesitate to call any host to ask for something. And they are friendly about it. Meats are seasoned well and very tasty. We had a great time and was full to the max.

Great environment, horrible service. We had to wait on average 10 minutes to get our meat, and the server was being extremely rude. We had to order garlic 7 times to finally get it. When we ordered 4 briskets, we only got 2. Would not recommend to anyone.

没有San Jose的 GOOD. Because the square parking was very crowded. And the security is very bad. Almost EACH store signed : Do not put valuables in the car. The Gen is new store. The seats are more than San jose store. But seats isnt well. Position interval.
