Its been a minute since Ive eaten here after breaking up with the one I love. But what I did order, a steak with some type of mushroom and some type of sauce they made with the gravy. Multo someone for doing that because it is still a night a night I remember and I had been to Chris Ruths steak house six times since and they still havent measured up to the guy, more than likely taught on the job and Mexican - I add that because I add that far from derogatory it being Derogatory - its that some people are born with the ability of making a steak and that is no joke. Dont know if its osmosis or what but something gets based through them jeans when god bless the mother with creating the child. And that child grew-up to cook me a steak that you could cut with the side of a spoon. Man I wish I could shake his hand and tell him that is the absolute steak I ever ate. Oh the times we wish we could go back and thanks someone for cooking me that spoke from his heart to my heart. For me, Its Vascos.

I wanted to enjoy this restaurant. It was Fathers Day night and we had to eat at the bar.Not withstanding I could not cut my chicken in my Picatta, your restaurant must cater to the blowhard drinking locals. Trying to eat, the grey haired loud local felt it ok to tell his "buds" to take the stool next to me and then tell ME to move down. Being handicapped with a cane caused me much discomfort in the middle of my meal. I hope the revenue from your rude 4 chardonnay locals makes up for a potential future customer. I plan on relocating to Mill Valley but will not be bringing in members of my firm to your restaurant. So please give.Mr. Hawaiian shirt at the end of the bar a drink on me ( cause youll know hell be in tonite) that he cost you an entire law firms business for being so rude to a handicapped lawyer. .

A wonderful restaurant which never disappoints. The food is always tasty and their specials update frequently so there is always something new to try. The place itself is really small and there isnt much seating, so make sure to get there early or call ahead for a reservation. Parking in the area is limited too so plan for that as well. The service has always been good and the ambiance is cozy but very classy.

Vascos Restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that anyone would feel comfortable in bringing their family for lunch or dinner. Once in the restaurant the food is only enhanced by the wonderful servers and the owner, Paul. This combination leaves one hungry for more and the reason to make this a regular place when going out to eat!

Oh my god! That was the best pizza I had despite the one I had eaten long ago in Napoli!!! We also had the tortellini with pesto and I just couldnt help myself but sighing all the time. In fact walking out and back to the car I was still making those noises!! Thanks so much! Best place that we experienced in ca so far. Thank you!!!

Very nice little place in Mill Valley that has a good flow of patrons, but not over packed -- you can actually walk in without a reservation and grab the last table or just wait 20 minutes and something will open up. The arugula and beat salad is awesome -- and the fish stew which is cioppino -- both amazing!

Love this place! It is our home away from home and a regular eatery. We have frequented Vascos every since they opened. Paul is a warm and friendly host and his attitudes carry over to all who work there. The food is always good and the price is right!

Overcharged our credit card, we clearly wrote 54 dollars, but they made it 59 dollars themselves. Also, food combinations are weird (fish with orzo used as a pasta, fish tasted of tomato sauce) and non-enthousiastic service. Avoid at any cost!

Great place had the calamari, pizza for an appetizer both were great and authentic italian. Tortellini Bolognese was out of this world, better than some I had in Florence. Service A+. Leave San Fransisco and come here.

Very quiet neighborhood! Had their swordfish special, which was delicious! My girlfriend had the carbonara which she said was good as well. Their bartender also knows what hes doing.
