Two pork tamales for $3 flat! For $1.50 each, theyre definitely good size tamales! The taste of the tamale was alright, but the thing that really made it GOOD was their salsa... especially their RED salsa! Theres a choice between the red and the green salsa. The green salsa resembles a watered down guacamole. The red salsa is the typical salsa Mexican joints give. The reason why this red one is sooooo good is because you can tell this is homemade since theres still remnants of the soften chile skin in the salsa. They both pack good heat, but the green one ends with a smoother finish. Its probably a good salsa for their other menu offerings. For eating the pork tamale, I preferred the red one since its almost like the stuff they use to marinate the meat in. I got my order to-go, but I will definitely consider eating at the restaurant next time. It feels like a small mom and pop place and the folks that work there are pretty nice. Ill definitely be back!

Awful service, nachos were SOGGY!!! Ive been here a couple of times and each time it get worst. Wont be going anymore. When I complaint about the nachos, all I was told was its busy, they were made already but the rest of the food wasnt. And thats it. Did not even receive an apology or anything else to try and make up for it. By the way, my stomach was in such pain afterwards!! Not worth It! By the way, we asked for chips; the last picture I uploaded are the chips they gave us!

The regular staff was on vacation and the staff left in charge were incompetent. Our order of taquitos took 45Min and tacos dorado were brought out. The food was good but not what we ordered. The waitress told us that taquitos are tacos dorados thats what we wanted were flautas. We showed her on the menu. She then said they dont make the taquitos or flautas with potato when we told her we have ordered it before she brought someone else out to back her up.

Nice place with great pictures if Mexican history pictures, actors. Nice touch, good is authentic Mexican, huevos rancheros was real good..Id go easy on the cheese. Mexican coffee is the best in the morning, awesome cinnamon flavor, goes great with food. Recommend to eat.

Im from the OC and let me tell you this is the Blbest place for authentic food near USC Medical Hospital. With .5 miles from the hospital this is a must try. Best staff and awesome food, try the enchiladas or the birrria asada!
