This is an interesting place - positioned kind of on its own against a liquor store and gas station... so you wouldnt expect much (I never did). However, inside is pretty expansive with ample tables for the restaurant and a decent sized bar/lounge area. With a full bar and respectable craft beer offering (among some usuals), there isnt reason to strife with regard to beverages. Plus they knock out a great Mule (Ive had 3 varieties here). Food is a mix between standard grill/restaurant options and some eclectic dishes to feature different regional areas. One of my favorites is the South Africa inspired lamb samosas - exquisitely seasoned/juicy meat inside perfectly flaky crust! Its almost a given for me whether having just drinks or an intended meal. A cool thing they do on occasion are specialty dinners, such as craft beer pairing dinners with a focused brewery (or two) and a multi-course meal that features beer pairings with the courses. More simply they have tap takeover nights where a brewery is fully features with the available tap handles - a good way to explore a new/different brewery or beer styles than your accustomed. Lastly, Ive seen Eldorado on the DoubleTake Offers website where you can purchase $30 worth of food/drinks for $15. Keep an eye out there for a good reason to jump in and try what they have to offer.

Love this club...the food, the music & the Jams. However, the recent jam (5.17.2012) hosted by Dennis Herrera was a MAJOR disappointment! He has a good voice & plays well...but there is NO FIRE OR SOUL in his performance. His band played over 1 & 1/2 hours of listless music before starting the jam. The jam was very poorly run. Many jammmers (I assume friends) remained up for 2 or 3 sets, while other jammers waited & waited & waited & were finally called to play once the entire audience had left. Audience members were even calling to him saying let someone else play, to NO avail! Then would apologize, saying they would be next....but NO! Me & my friends will NEVER attend another event (Jam, Club Event, Concert, etc,) by Dennis Herrera!

This is not the Eldorado from two years ago or even one year ago. With new ownership and a new menu this is the place to get an awesome steak. Our service was prompt and our food was prepared fast. Try the wings. They are some of the best in the area. We had 1/2 dozen of the original Buffalo and 1/2 dozen with the peri-peri sauce. The bleu cheese dressing had big chucks of bleu cheese in it and the wings had crumbled bleu on top. The rib-eye steaks we had were probably close to a pound and were as good as any steak house. Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

I went with my husband who seemed to really like it when he went with his friends. I went on a quiet Wednesday and was not impressed. I ordered the smoked salmon and was not able to finish it and I hate letting food go to waste. My husband ordered the samosas and said they were good, I do appreciate that they have good beer menu. In the future I might go just for drinks

Ive heard great things, but after trying it for the first time, I will never go back. For the prices you pay, one would expect professional waiters and not greasy spoon diner attitude. The decor is tired and dated and needs to be brought out of the 80s. The food is not spectacular and could be found anywhere at half the cost.

Super cool find! Great sports bar with VERY helpful and friendly staff. Owned by a South African gentleman and the influence is felt in some of the ambiance and menu. Looking for the traditionals to be well done or for something a little different, then this is the place. We are so happy we came across it!

New ownership and management are great! Have been there several times now. The South African dishes were great, (curried lamb, a shrimp dish, sausage sandwich) that we tried. Fish and chips and salmon both extremely good. Rib eye special was amazing. Well be going there often.

The food is amazing. The only thing I could criticize is the wait times for service. Ive been coming here for years and its worth the wait. If your in a hurry, this probably isnt the place to stop. The lamb shank is amazing and the portions are huge! You wont leave hungry!

Real South African food. Biltong is the best beef jerky you will ever have. Tender real meat. Currys are hearty and excellent. Excellent bar. Too many TVs for a place with such great food, but the place to go if you love Rugby!
