Very unprofessional and unapologetic staff that ruined our night. I was very disrespected by multiple members of their staff. At one point I even felt physically threatened when one of their crew members that was wearing a blue hat got in my face while I was trying to explain to his manager (not sure if he was actually the manager) how his crew members were acting. It all started when my friend, who was one beer in for the night, was refused service for being too drunk. Although I didnt agree with their judgment call, that is not my issue - they have the right to refuse service if they think someone may be too drunk. My issue with this place was that when I asked to speak to the manager on duty, everyone I asked said they were the manager. I refused to take that as a legitimate answer and asked a female bartender with red hair to get me the actual person that was in charge - she shooed me away with her hands and told me to leave. When I finally found a person that at least 2 people said was in charge, another crew member wearing a blue hat got involved and was visibly angry. When I tried explaining what happened to his manager he cut me off before I was allowed to finish a sentence. He did this at least 3 times until I asked him to stop cutting me off and let me complete a sentence. He then said "okay, go" while he got uncomfortably close and sized me up like he was going to throw a punch. The apparent manager heard my complaint and said "okay, is there anything else?" Then when we walked outside the guy in the blue hat followed us out and yelled out to another guy down the street and asked him to come by in case they needed any "help"with me, my wife, my sister and friend that was one beer in. This night at least, the restaurant was run by a bunch of unprofessional college-aged amateurs that acted like they owned the place. We felt bullied, physically threatened and completely disrespected. If you expect to be treated like a paying customer, go somewhere else.

I had been here a few times and it was nothing special just another tourist trap brewhouse with bar food and drinks. My wife and I had another couple visiting from out of town so we decided to venture there on a Saturday night. BIG BIG mistake. Not only did it take 30 minutes to get our drinks, but when we got them it was basically closing which was completely fine with us, but was a big issue for one of their bouncers. The bouncer came over and asked us all to please sip quickly to which we all did and the whole bar was still full. After literally two minutes(bar still full) the aggressive bouncer came back no joke reached over to my friends wife and just yanked the drink out of her hand violently out of nowhere without even saying anything. We were all in shock and asked management to come over right away thinking they would at least take care of this guy/talk to him. Instead, they blamed us and told us we should have sipped the drinks sooner. Keep in mind we are not college kids running a muck. My wife and I are in are mid thirties with two children who just wanted to go out for a few drinks with friends. The manager Josh(would not tell us his last name) was insanely unprofessional and mocked us as we walked out. As an owner of a business here in HB I challenge the owner of this establishment to message me personally as this type of behavior is not only unprofessional, but it is down right negligent!! I would expect him to hold his staff accountable for behavior detrimental to his establishments reputation and bottom line. If you are strolling along Main street in Huntington Beach and you see this place I would KEEP WALKING.

I lived downtown for 7 years and had a bad experience when the bartender sold me and my buddy a "beer club member card" for $40. It was suppose to get you an array of perks including a large beer for the price of a small one, a free shirt after the 5th beer, etc. After the third time we went to HB brew co and another bartender served us, he informed us that we didnt have a "beer club member card" but was sold a gift card which was out of money. Not sure if they had a bonus program or what but havent been back. With pacific city around the corner I have no need to go back.

Had a great time up until some would be hipster meat head behind the counter had the nerve to put his hands on me after being unable to explain himself when i confronted him about loosing my wifes card behind the bar counter. With the exemption of this unprofessional misrepresentation of HBS normally accommodating culture this place is great, be on the lookout for any playboy bartender who happens to feel like its OK to put his hands on customer though, any night other than a holiday hed have been canned on the spot by a member of management.

Came here on a couple of occasions, the most recent one being drinks post sunset on the beach. We sat outside on their outdoor patio. The service started off a little slow, but once our drinks were ordered, things went smoothly from there on. It was pretty quiet for a Friday night, but Saturday here get pretty packed with people. While its a great place to come for beers, Ive had issues getting our group in on a Saturday night. Definitely proceed with caution here. If all else fails - theres always Sharkees!! :)

A local favorite. Lots of big TVs for watching games, traditional bar food. Gets a little noisy late at night and the locals head out and an odd crowd of hipsters/tourists come in. Brew onsite--Blond is my favorite. Mug Club is great for frequent fliers (bigger pour & rewards levels). Sweet potato fries are awesome. Chocolate chip calzone is great if you want a sugar rush. Despite all of these good items...service is the main downside as it is usually very slow

The HBBC is awesome and has a good menu for food, and the craft beer here is really good. The Brichshot Red is my favorite beer, it is described as malty yet hoppy. I usually order a burger, and the Kobe burger is pretty darn good, I also have to say the spicy blonde burger is tastey as well! All of the appetizers are yummy, especially the spicy garlic edemame! The employees are friendly, and helpful, i love this brewery!

Casual little upstairs spot on main in HB with both indoor and outdoor seating. I typically visit at least once whenever Im in town for either dinner and/or drinks. Service and wait times can be hit or miss. Sometimes the place is super crowded and loud, other times not. The majority of the food and beer Ive tried was good, especially the red ale, sweet potato fries and pulled pork sandwich.

I am completely disgusted by the way the staff of this establishment treats their customers. Customer service is non-existent at this place and the staff is rude and unjust. There is also no competent manager on site who can be taken seriously and who will take you seriously if you have an issue with something. Never stepping foot in this restaurant again.

Food is absolutely disgusting. We found hair in our salad, also the salad was just low quality lettuce chopped with prepackaged salad dressing. Yuck! The only redeeming quality of this place is the half outdoor seating, so you can get some ocean breeze and a nice 2nd story view of the beach. Only come for the view, but definitely do not recommend the food.
