Best PAKISTANI food I have ever ate in the USA hands down. Let me be clear, this is a Pakistani restaurant that has vegetarian options for the faint of heart, literally. I suggest the Chicken Biryani for all newbies or simply as a starting dish, but definitely the Beef Nihari to get your mouth going. Make sure to get the buttery Garlic Naan to sop up all the curry, because thats where the real spices of Nihari are at. As a side, get the Beef Seikh Kabob to really get that char-grilled Tandoor flavor. I would say that among the Kabobs the really adventurous would be uber satisfied with the Beef Boti Kabob which is more of tenderly marinated and spiced beef chunks than its ground beef cousin, Beef Seikh Kabob. Now for dessert I suggest the Ras Malai or Kheer, 2 of the most satisfying desserts fit for royalty. End the meal with a soul-quenching cup of Dood-Patti Chai (not the same as Masala Chai), one of the ultimate hits-the-spot milk teas that you will be dreaming about. **Disclaimer** Since most Pakistanis could go without vegetables or even being vegetarians at that, try to explore the meat/rice dishes before the vegetarian dishes. Trust me, youll thank me later. For most of you that do not know, Pakistani cuisine is MUCH different from its cross-border neighbor. Pakistani cuisine is heavy on the meats, especially red meat like lamb, goat and beef. Additionally the spices that Pakistani cuisine utilizes are a lot different than the spices Indian vegetarian-themed restaurants use for their cuisine. Some of these Indian restaurants even (gasp!) use the vegetarian spices for the meat dishes that they do serve. The cooking techniques along with the overall meat quality and texture are in my opinion place Pakistani cuisine on an untouchable level with no comparison.

My Boyfriend first took me here 4 years ago. I was a little afraid at first because it just looks a little dumpy from the outside. Its in a little center across from a big supermarket and busy intersection. The waiter barely spoke a word of english but had a kind smile. My boyfriend order Chicken Masala for the both of us with Garlic Nun. OMG, Ive never had anything like this. The chicken was tender and the rice cooked perfectly and the SAUCE, OH MY GOSH the sauce was creamy and addicting. We now go in every other week or so and ill ask for sauce to go. I can honestly say in 4 years, I havndt ordered a single other thing, so i couldnt tell you if the rest of the food is good. I just know their Chicken Masala is to die for!

Great food for the most part. I just wonder how the garlic naan would have tasted because we never got ours. However, our "servers" dont remember that. They tried charging us for it even though it was promised and it never got to us. The service is poor here. When you have to flag down the server every time you need something, what is the point of having a waiter serve you? The food took too long to get to us and they recommended we not get the garlic naan until our food arrived. We wanted to eat our food with the naan and it never came so who knows what it tastes like. If it were for better service, theyd get a perfect 5 star. But thats very off putting and makes it difficult to enjoy your meal.

YUM. YUM. YUM. This place serves excellent, excellent, excellent Indian/Pakistanian dishes! Chicken Tikka Masala - boneless chicken chunks in a spicy sauce of herbs/spices. The curry sauce is amazing! This dish is packed with calories, but I can eat this for days. Best chicken tikka masala in the South Bay! Aaloo Palak - spinach and potatoes in herbs/spices. I love the smooth texture of this curry dish. Its my all-time favorite vegetarian dish. Garlic Naan - oven-baked flatbread. Its delicious on its own but even better with masala and palak. Definitely call in your to-go orders! Every order is made fresh, so the wait-time is usually 20-30 minutes around dinnertime. Everyone waits.

My favorite place for Indian food in the south bay. That is if you arent counting Playa del Rey because if you are then itd be a toss up between Al Noor and Tandoor A India. Im a big fan of Al Noor. The dishes here are pretty good. I liked their chicken tikka masala and their chicken tandoor. The rice was great, and the garlic naan was fresh, hot, and soft. I dont know what it is about this place, but Im always craving Al Noor on a monday but unfortunately they are closed on mondays. They have their own parking lot shared with a few more stores so parking isnt a problem. And the people here are nice. Also, this place is halal. Im a fan.

Best food and customer service that went beyond call of duty. I was to land at Los Angeles around 8.30 PM and wouldnt have been able to reach Al-Noor before 10 PM or so. Id called Al-Noor in advance informing them id be late in picking up the food. The hotel guys waited until 10.30 PM to ensure I pick up the food and hence dont go to bed hungry. Thanks Al-Noor for the co-operation. Needless to say, food was equally outstanding. Chicken Butter masala, Palak Paneer, Chicken Haleem & paya curry.. all 4 competed with each other to be our favorite.

Another visit to Al Noor and like other visits, the food was delicious. Again, the chicken tikka masala is buttery, tomatoey goodness. The Nahari beef was fantastically spiced. Not to self, on Next visit well do the lamb Palak and the tandoori mix plate. Wish they had beer or wine....that would really give this place some extra points. Decor wont knock your socks off, but fast and friendly service and some of the best Pakistani food around is enough to return again and again.

Good Indian/Pakistani restaurant with plenty of indoor seating for groups of 2 to 6. The service takes a little long to serve you your food but it is made fresh and tastes delicious. My first visit there was filled with questions about the food and the staff was very friendly and walked me through the entire menu. I had the chicken Tikka Masala with prati and it was delicious. Well priced and plenty of parking available.

I saw this place on the Food channels "Best thing I ever Ate". I specifically came in to try the garlic Naan and was not disappointed. I had never tried Indian food like this before and was completely blown away. I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a hole in the wall place that has great service and food. They have a special mango milkshake type drink there that is amazing.

Was excited to try their lamb qorma as it is a favorite dish of mine. Got it very spicy and while it was that, there was nothing else significant about the dish. Maybe there was a Pakistani twist to it that Im not familiar with but it was just edible. I was not excited to eat my leftovers as I usually am. Also, the garlic naan was lacking.
