This restaurant is wonderful. I came here randomly one night with a friend. Although there were no tables available, they sat us at the bar initially and told us that we could grab a table once one became available. About 15 minutes later, the very nice hostess offered us a table. The food here is terrific! I had the Day boat scallops and the gnocchi, both of which were very tasty and expertly made. I also had the amazing olive oil cake which is the best olive oil cake Ive ever tasted. The drinks are also expertly crafted. Both drinks were made perfectly. Wonderful restaurant!

I have been searching the area for the best pizza. I lived in Italy and grew up eating in the Italian North End of Boston. I like Italian pizza and it is hard to find in the OC. Romeos, so far, is at the top of the list. Fresh ingredients, perfect mix of cheese and sauce, great dough recipe and a brink oven. Still not as good as Italy but definitely the closest I have found in the OC. If you know your stuff when it comes to high quality pizza, you will not be disappointed.

My son has allergies, so we always ask about ingredients. Waiter was accomodating. Chef thinks we are paranoid. Ordered the meat ball sauce with pasta. My son ate some meat ball and had some reaction. With all the assurance from chef. I think the cooks are not careful with cross-contamination. Typical with chef with elevated ego. I wont be back.

Hard to find good Italian food in the US. Most of it is full of cheese and overbearing sauces. I was really pleasantly surprised - fresh ingredients, healthy, and not smothered. Really like this place. Nice atmosphere and great staff as well. Well be going back.

This place is huge and amazing! I came here with reservations Tuesday night with my sister and husband for my fist time. This is their 2nd/3rd time! They tried their best not to over hype the place l, haha, but wow did this place have amazing food!

This was my first visit and I really enjoyed it. My mother and I shared the Ravioli Carciofini...excellent! Our server, Marisa, was courteous.mand gave excellent attention to us. I highly recommend this fine Italian place.

We went there with our friends the other night--I never go out for Italian food because I am Italian--THIS WAS AS AUTHENTIC AS MY OWN GRANDMAN COULD MAKE!!! Great atmosphere, great service and most of all GREAT FOOD!!!!!

Great staff and food, especially the cioppino and fish stew. The short rib ravioli is amazing. Stay away from the non-Italian specials. Had steak and it was okay, but they specialize in Italian cooking.
