Delicious Mexican food in Lafayette? Yes! I had the carne asada and it was perfection. My kids ate up their tacos and burrito and my husband had the flautas. We also had horchatas and chips and guac. Every plate was completely demolished as if we hadnt eaten for days. Food was fresh and the waiters were friendly. We will be back.

They have the best traditional burritos in Lamorinda by far. Casa in Lafayette has great asian fusion burritos, but El Jarro has the best traditional mexican style by far. Super Yummy, I go there at least a couple times a month for my burrito fix. Their salsas are amazing too.

The waiter was not very friendly and the prices were somewhat high, especially considering they did not serve chips gratis or bring tortillas. Also no veggie burritos. Nice ambiance but no lunch menu so you end up paying a bundle at that time.

Great hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant in Lafayette. Give the Mexican sandwiches a try if your really hungry. Also, Mexican coffee very nice. Seating in the back is a little nicer too.
