Horrible service. Never gets my order right. Drive thru can never read back an order correctly. The whole reason I eat at El Pollo Loco is for the creamy cilantro sauce. They never have it. They always run out. Theyve lied to me numerous times saying theyve had it and instead try to give me double salsa or avacado salsa obviously after Ive paid. They lie just to get your order and cash. I now have to ask if they have the creamy cilantro sauce BEFORE I even start my order. Its a 50/50 if they have it. Like I said, they try to give me avacado salsa instead. Im just going to have to get the sauce BEFORE I even give them my money. This is probably the worst service Ive ever dealt with. The last three times Ive pick up through the drive thru theyve messed something up. #1. They said they had creamy cilantro and once I paid they didnt have any more. #2. Forgot my sons mac and cheese. #3. (Tonight) said they had creamy cilantro. I asked at the speaker and the cashier at the window. They gave me avacado salsa instead. This place is horrible. Im going to have to be one of those people who sits on the drive through for 5 minutes verifying my order because the employees here cant seem to do it.

If I could give it a zero, I would! The drive-through has gotten my order wrong 4 out of the last 5 times I went there this past year. When I point out the error, they are always quick to say it was someone elses fault, never theirs. WAY too much hard, bitter, white lettuce "core" is chopped up into the lettuce they use. I have to pull it out of my salads and one time there was 1/3 of the lettuce that was this castoff lettuce. These are not cheap salads. to have to throw away a large part of it because you cannot eat it. That is not acceptable. Additionally, they chop up the hard, clear "grizzle" part of the chicken, so you have to constantly pull it out of your mouth, as you cannot chew it. Since I work nearby, I kept giving them chances. NO MORE. They have lost my business.

Went inside to order as I wanted to specify exactly what I wanted - which was only breast and thighs. I ordered 16 pieces. When the man brought my order to the counter he was closing the lid and I saw a leg. I told him that I only ordered breast and thighs, and he replied the chicken leg was a gift. I should have checked! When I got to my party and opened the containers, there were 4 wings and 4 legs!! Yes, I did get 4 thighs and 4 breasts. But 8 of the 16 pieces were what I specifically told them I didnt want. I called the store and no one answered. I called the corporate number and no one answered. I will be going to the store tomorrow with receipt and photos. Very unhappy. First time in that store. And last.

From the moment you pull in to order from the drive thru, you are greeted with a pissed off worker who is obviously hating their job, the drive thru speaker crackles as the employee begrudgingly takes your order, totals are never given until you get to the window. If you are lucky, they will have avocados in stock, this is hardly the case since my last 2 visits they have been out of avocado before 6pm. The cashier was the only positive aspect of an otherwise worthless restaurant taking up space for a superior fast food chain. Another positive I will give them is that since I was waiting so long in line, the shape of the full moon is engraved in my brain, and I will be able to picture it as I fall asleep.

Ive been going here for 30 years, Ive had every part of my order forgotten. I learned to take my time and check it, it holds up the line, but you. I cannot eat without utinsils,,a real coke cannot be drank when you order a diet. Running out of chicken use to be a problem, years ago. Bottom line for me is they serve the healthest food. Take your time and go through your order. Its a corp training store and the help varies. Us old veterans help the staff by double checking the order. Be kind, its not deliberate. I love the food, 2 piece white, pinto beans & rice in one cup with a side salad and flour tortillas. Dont forget senior discount.

WOW THATS SOO TRUE!! "CHICKEN SO JUICY" !! lol SO ALONSO THIS EARLY AFTERNOON HAD EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! THE CHEF WHO PREPARED THE CHICKEN DID A FANTASTIC JOB!!! MAN ITS TASTED SOO GOOD AS IF IT WAS PUT IN A ROTISSERIE SPINDLE BACK THERE. SO SWEET, TENDER, AND JUICY. CHICKEN MADE JUST RIGHT. UNTIL NOW I HAVE NEVER ATE POLLO LOCO CHICKEN THIS GOOD!! WHAT A DIFFERENCE. AND OMG!! THE AVOCADO SALSA WAS CHUNKY AND LIME GREEN CREAMY APPEARANCE!!! SO GOOD!! SOO GOOD!! THE PICO DE GALLO LOOKED VERY FRESH. THIS IS CLEARLY THE BEST POLLO LOCO I ATE AT. THANKS OPENING CREW FOR FANTASTIC FOOD PREPERATION!!

Ive tried to give this location a chance every time the wait is too long or the order is wrong. Now that el pollo does order online I thought things would be better. Its worse. Twice, the food is overcooked and the order is wrong. The past visit the cashier argued as he fishy receive the order yet for me to proove from my email that I ordered. Never again. Thus location is horrible. Panera may be a tad more expensive but at least they know how to do online ordering. I dont blame the employees as much as management. Get it right El Pollo or just dont do it at all.

Let me try this again, this dive-thru is still doing the cheap hustle. Every time I drive-thru, they are derelict to take order, then basically push the food out the window (very unprofessional) , the gal at the cash register following behind with receipt and wrong change in hand minus ($5.00). They looked stoned cold busted when i asked for my remainder of my money, they looked at each other like they really jacked it up this time, and passed the rest of my money thru the window no questions asked. I will not be eating chicken here again.

Ive been here a few times in the past 3-4 months, and I must say: Chris is the man! Super friendly, cheerful, happy, and just a really pleasant person to watch work. He is gregarious with every customer, and his demeanor keeps me coming back to this restaurant. He seems to be rubbing off on the rest of the staff as well. The food is just like every other El Pollo Loco I have visited, but the staff at the La Verne-foothill location are the reason Im posting this. Keep it up Chris and co!

Been there twice both times stood at counter for 3 to 5 mins then the manager comes out and yells at a girl Brenda who needs to be fired in my opinion she didnt say hello just what can I get you takes my order like I was bothering her had my daughter with me the place was dirty food was good management was ok but ill never go back its sad cause I live here in laverne and I love el pollo
