Great Food, Bad Service Im conflicted on this place because hands down the chef who makes this food is great, but the service here is almost non-existent. First off the food, if you can take it to go, do so. It is wonderful, delicious and reasonably priced. I was very pleased with my meal of Carne con Papas, where the meat was tender and juicy, potatoes soft and soaked in seasoned gravy. The beans were cooked to perfection and overall presentation was just flawless. Now the bad part, the service here needs some attention. They arent rude, at least directly, but unattentive and lacking in some basics. The tables werent cleaned for the ones they said "were just cleaned" and after looking at them with us realized it wasnt. I stood waiting to be seated for upwards of 10 minutes with 2 separate people telling me they would seat me, clearing up space and moving tables for my party before they dropped what they were doing for another task without any word or notice to me that they had done so. One of the service members had her phone ring and answered it, I figured it was a business phone but she seemed to be on personal calls because she just walked away and was on the phone for some time. Eventually I sat myself down without any service member telling me where to sit. So overall, great food, subpar customer service.

The food was delicious! We were greeted by the wonderful music! They had a live performance from 6pm until close. They group was playing Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia amongst many other things. The service I know could have been a little better but it was a busy night. This is why I didnt 5 star this hidden gem. It took them about 20 minutes to get us the basket of bread and black bean dip to us. ( At this point they had already taken our order) They did give us 2 complimentary empanadas for the long wait which was kind of them. We ordered tostones and yucca con chicharron as appetizers. All the food came all at once! Which wasnt really what we were anticipating. I ordered the Fricase de Pollo and my hubby ordered the Torta Cubana. It was all very delicious and the music was just fantastic! We will be back again :)

This place is so delicious! Authentic Cuban food in Covina. Such a rarity and this is a hidden gem, I tell you. We got cuban tameles, braised oxtail, and Im not sure what the pineapple dish was but ALL were delicious. I didnt get a chance to have their Paella Del Mar. Id advise to call and order that ahead of time cause it take 30 mins to make. Cant wait to try it! This place should seriously be on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives.

Came here for the Sunday brunch. Not huge but decent selections. But it actually tastes really good! Huge pan of paella. Small bite size desserts but we had like 4 things of flan. Also got the passion fruit drink and it was quite tasty. Refills are $1 but the glass was large enough for my husband and me so we didnt even need a refill.

My wife and I went there on a Sunday afternoon. The place is small in a large strip mall. I had the pollo asado and my wife had the lechon asado. My wife really liked hers. It was very flavorful. Mine was just ok. The chicken may have needed to marinate more. We also got a Cubano sandwich to go for our son and he liked it.

We were a large party so they had to move tables around since its not very large, but the atmosphere was nice. I had the Lechon plate and also had some of my husbands Ropa Vieja plate. Both were delicious. Were definitely going back. You just need to get over the non-attractive location.

Decided to try this restaurant for an after work dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the depth of the menu, friendliness of the staff and great tasting dishes. Would recommend the coquetes de Jamon and paella. (pictured below) I only took one star off for lack of a liquor license.

I absolutely love everything about this place.Their food the design everything.I normally dont try new things but I was suprised by the results...the food was amazing and I look forward to when I can go again.The service is also great.Our server made us feal welcome and at home.

Love, love, love this place!!!Great Food and price is very reasonable! We dont like to eat out but this restaurant is like eating at home made meal. Fridays nights they have live music and is always busy so make sure to go earlier than 7:30pm or try to make a reservation !

All the dishes just burst with flavor here! My husband and I go out and eat a lot (way to much) so everything kind of tastes the same. We came to their Sunday buffet and every dish I could taste was absolutely delicious! The service is great and friendly as well.

Loved the food. Our waiter was so nice and since it was our first time she made different recomenations based on general food we like. And we loved our meals. Everyone was very nice. And The HOST he is just one sweet man. Will be going back to try the buffet.

Amazingly close to home cooked food! Be prepared for long wait & slow service, (there was only 1guy) but super worth it!!! The Arroz con Pollo is 40minute wait as its freshly made cooked to order with Saffron rice. We are defenitly going back often.

This was my first time at this restaurant. Food was delicious and fresh. I had a Cuban Sandwich while my wife had the skirt steak. My only qualm was the service was a little slow for my taste and I like to eat slow. We will definitely be back.

Disgusting. My family and I went there for Sunday brunch and there were roaches crawling on the buffet. If I could give this a zero star review I would. We will never go back. The health department should really inspect this place.

First time visiting this Cuban restaurant in Covina. The food and ambience was great. The Ropa Vieja and the Roasted Chicken were DELICIOUS!!!! Highly recommend the restaurant to everyone.
