Had a very unfortunate experience here. The sign says $2 minimum to use the wifi for up to 2 hours. My friend and I spent the morning there working, after spending over $20 on food and coffee. We left for a while, then came back in the afternoon to buy another $5 coffee and wait for a friend. Less than 30 minutes later we were asked to leave because of their wifi policy. WE WERE ASKED TO LEAVE. We werent even using the wifi anymore, and besides that there was a customer who had been there all day on his laptop. But he wasnt a black man, whereas my friend was. Theres no explanation except that this place practices racist policies, and it was a very sad and embarrassing situation for us both. Deeply depressing to see these kinds of practices happening openly in todays culture. I urge you to take your business elsewhere.

Im new to the area and anytime I have some free time, and really dont want to be at home I find myself at "Old Torrance Coffee & Tea". Everything about this place is the best from the people the own it and work here. To its costumer that each and everyone of them have their own personality and you really get treated like family. I really cant find anything negative to say about this place? I just hope more people dont find out about this awesome place! ^_^

Items are a little pricey. Also 2 hour parking. 2 hour stay max if youre on a computer. They do provide working Wifi without hassle, no login or accepting of terms, yay. Good cold brew, hard to find that. I hate Starbucks coffee, so it was nice to find this place in the area. Great Iced Mocha. Cheddar bagel w/ cream cheese is also great! Not a bad selection of pastries and baked goods. And they have some fancy desert items I would love to try.

Awesome little coffee shop with amazing pastries and great coffee! Lovely interior with a couch and comfy chairs, as well as a couple of two person tables to sit at. Larger groups can sit outside at their larger tables with a street view! Pro tip - if sitting inside at the couch and plush chairs, dont use your computer and WiFi. That area is reserved for people who want to sit back and gave an IRL conversation!

Chill place to hang, feels like home, relaxed, artfully decorated, nice couches and tables, and good drinks. Lots of outdoor seating as well. Has restrooms - for customers only. Baristas are quirky and casual in the best ways. Has wifi and multiple, accessible plug outlets -yay! Tons of great antique shops are nearby including an incredible WWII antique store right across the street.

First visit. Food was pretty tasty and fresh. Great breads, fresh ingredients. Decor is super cute and hipster. Coffee was amazing. I had the iced vanilla latte and the buffalo chicken sandwich on a baguette. Both delicious. Sandwich had blue cheese spread and I still loved it even though Im not a fan of blue cheese. Comes with a side garden salad. Cant wait for my next visit. :)

This is a cozy little shop. The staff were very friendly! I ordered a pour over of their Ethiopia roast and it was great. Its definitely has a local shop feel. The menu board was done by hand with chalk, which I thought was a nice touch. I would go so far to say that their pour overs can hold their own against the likes of Intelligentsia and Blue bottle.

Cute coffee shop adjacent to Plum Market. They have a lot of seating with good sized tables (one of my gripes with Starbucks). They do not have skim milk or sugar free syrups, but maybe that means they are more authentic? I got a chocolate ganache latte. It was lovely. The finish on the top with the foam was a nice touch.

Great Comfy Furniture! Great Windows! Great High Ceiling and cool "coffee" table books. Oh, yeah... good coffee too. Cramped, lovely and homey...good food and cool sounds -- I hear there is an open mic on Weds. and JAZZ on TGIFs. Whenever I find myself in Old Torrance, I find myself in Old Torrance Coffee and Tea.

Unfortunately they allow smoking outside. Otherwise I give them 5 stars. Not sure why they dont just make people smoke out back because Im certain a lot of people wont return because of it. People who dont smoke are repulsed by the smell and health hazards of 2nd hand.

Awesome. My new fave coffee place with great service, free wifi, and of course, awesome coffee. Vibe is relaxed and welcoming. Drinks are excellent. Cold brew is divine. Dont come here so I can keep the place to myself! ;) No, seriously, come here. It rules.

Great little coffee house with terrific treats ! I tried a pumpkin late which was a bit too much latte. I like my coffee more coffee flavored than milk. Although everything I ordered was great so a great experience and have been back twice since.

We went there Friday night. Easy to find seats. Delicious and reasonably price. Theres a small parking lot near it. The decoration here is cute. Great place and atmosphere here to have Japanese food.

Great coffee and even better service. Very small inside which wouldnt be so bad if it wasnt so popular. Good seating outside as well with many places to window shop like the WW2 store.

Loved it, the coffee was amazing, very nice service and likely the best place in the neighborhood, where you can get a delicious oatmeal breakfast. Highly recommend the place.

Love this spot. Great place to grab some tea and chat with a friend, or read a book with your good self. You have to check out the restroom too, its kind of amazing.

I went into this coffee bean since it was the closest to me. I liked the fact that it wasnt busy during the night time making it a quite and relaxing atmosphere.
